... worn out excessively. The more read and write a storage media experiences, the shorter the life. If you want internal storage to last long, use a huge storage micro sd card. At least, you can throw it away and replace it if it goes bad. Not so with internal storage. Phones without micro sd card slots are more about planned obsolescence and bigger profits than a truly better phone experience. Much faster file transfer speeds, yes. As long as you don't wear out fast the internal storage or fill it up fast, in which case, the phone is going to be replaced sooner than later.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2019You're right. I tried clearing up the internal storage to 1... moreMy 64GB LG V20 has a total of 51.75GB available internal storage space of which I only used up 13.25GB for a total of 112 installed apps (including built-in apps). It is 25.6% full, with 74.4% free space available and my V20 runs very smooth and fluid.
All media/personal/reference files/PC files/Microsoft office work files (Ex. photos, videos, music, movies, offline Wikipedia, downloads, etc.) are stored in my 400GB Sandisk micro sd card. Of the 367GB available space in the 400GB Sandisk, I've used up 157GB (42.8% full, 57.2% free). This setup avoids internal storage congestion which not only slows down the phone response but also adversely affects internal storage longevity, which, next to the battery, will likely wear out first. While you can replace the V20's removable battery, you can't do much to it's internal storage if it has worn out excess

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2019LG V20 confirmed to get Android Pie in Q3 2019
Source: m... moreYes, when pigs fly.
If my LG V20 H990DS (-ESA-XX) variant gets updated to Oreo (it's still on Nougat 7.0), maybe, I'll start entertaining
promises again from LG no matter how FAKE and UNBELIEVABLE they sound. But until then, nope. Not in 1000 years.
How can LG possibly provide Pie to the V20 when it intentionally ABANDONED many international H990DS variants with Nougat 7.0, the Android software version they were launched with in 2016? Enough said. LG mobile is the biggest LIAR in the mobile industry as regards Android software update support promises (that remain promises forever).

Because whilst some people say they have no probs whatsoever, there are tons of others on the internet complaining about the same problem I'm facing. And there are also complains of it just having bad reception due to build quality or whatever...Wish I'd get a solution for this tho, really like the phone. :v

Kio, 18 Aug 2019Anyone ever had signal issues? Where signal just keeps comi... moreYou may have bought a V20 variant that is not intended to be used for your country due to network incompatibility. What is your specific V20 variant, and what country are you using the V20? H990DS for example is not compatible with the US because some network bands used in the US are not available in that variant.

Anyone ever had signal issues? Where signal just keeps coming and going, but making a call just brings the "connection error or invalid mmi code" error?
