What is your specific V20 variant, and what country are you using the V20? H990DS for example is not compatible with the US because some network bands used in the US are not available in that variant.

I tried clearing up the internal storage to 18GB free and it makes a difference to its still warm and does lag (at least its now useable). Thank you for your reply. I'll keep clearing stuffs to make more room for the phone and get a larger microSD card at my local store. Guess I'll keep using this one till its last moment. Just download and install 'Blue Light Filter app' by 'Leap Fitness Group' from the Playstore. Keep it running in the background to eliminate image/screen retention.
As long as 'Blue Light Filter' app is running in the background whenever your phone on, you'll never have image retention/ghosting in the V20--- EVER! Don't worry, the app is 100% safe and has practically no effect on battery life, no effect on processing power/speed and doesn't consume memory/storage/data/wifi. You won't even notice it running in the background because you won't see it in the recent apps list.
The only permission you need to provide it is 'draw over other apps' for its screen overlay to do its magic of banishing image ghosting/screen retention (for as long as it is running in the background).
Suggested settings for Blue Light Filter app for elimination of screen/image retention problem in the V20:
Night Mode: toggle 'ON'
Color temperature: 4500K (Tap 'sun and clouds' icon and tap 'OK' when prompted it is not good for sleeping)
Intensity: 3%
Screen dim: 5%
Set auto timer: toggle 'OFF'
Notification bar: toggle 'OFF'
That's it and you're good to go. You may increase or decrease Intensity % and Screen dim % depending on the amount of screen retention that you have. Higher % for stronger image/screen retention and lower % for milder image retention /mild ghosting. It normally remains in memory doing its magic unless some memory intensive app kicks it out from the background, in which case, you may need to restart it.

but it's not a big deal , just put some strong glue on the back of the screen and you will be fine

After my use of two years and four months, I think that better than the battery swapping, extended batteries of 6.400 - 6.500 mAh is a better option.
Of course the use of the GCam to photography, (better than vid), is a 'must' to any discerning photo amateur.

I have this phone right now using it to write down this ccommen
let me tell you my experience with it
the camera is great , original camera for video recording and the gcam for taking picture
the screen is amazing
the second screen is really useful too
the battery is short but you can change it any time you want
the cons are
the build quality is just terrible , the glue that holds the screen just can't keep up with it , after 6 month
and it scratches very easy , be careful with it
still for this price , this is much better than new midrange smartphone

Reading that Google has developed manual mode to their GCam, I think that with the algorithms developed by the user on their photographic profile makes their own "profesional level", if the exigency is not the highest.

It's one of the modes/settings that were not finished or polished by the developer as he moved on to another phone and project. Still grateful though because of the time and effort these developers spent to reprogram Google's GCam app with Night Sight so it can be used in other phones like the V20. Just download another app from the Playstore for slow-motion effects since the GCam for V20 doesn't have a working slow motion feature.
