Kingslayer, 07 Sep 2018The LG V20 used to give me a little more problems than my G... moreI had no problems with the V20 H990DS and I really enjoyed it. But now I have lost patience with LG and already ordered the Huawei P20. I can sell the V20 in Switzerland very well and for a reasonable price.
Too bad, LG will hurt itself the most with the bad service.

The LG V20 used to give me a little more problems than my G5. Now the tables have turned. The G5 is giving me sudden battery drain (1% every 2 minutes) and image retention while my V20 doesn't give me any of those problems. The image retention was worse on the V20 before.
Like I said before, I'll probably keep both for IR blaster but it's disappointing how badly LG phones ages. The V20 isn't perfect either. I never got Oreo. It's probably a little more laggier than the G5. It can overheat fast when I use it for tethering.
Removable batteries are overrated after two years when you can only find Chinese third-party replacements and alot of the OEM ones are old and degraded even inside their packaging.
I'm getting forced to use iPhone again thanks to the superior aftermarket support. The rest are trash after warranty. Got to live using boring iOS though.

I feel lg is a ****ing lier just makes fool of their consumers by providing false dates of updates will never ever by a LG device again. Hope so LG should soon get lost of the smartphone market as soon as possible and they will with such an attitude towards their consumers.

Chudo, 07 Sep 2018Hey Rash.Can you already confirm if LG is doing what they a... moreNo update till now for me I called LG customer care again they said updates are released and it will be released in batches according to IMEI or Serial number so stay tuned it will be available anytime soon till last of September don't know if they lying. Has anyone from India received the Oreo on Lg V20 please report here if anyone has.

Don't know if it's true or they are just fooling there consumer which is what LG is good at doing.... Anyways lets see

With one remark...oreo is not listed yet on LG's official open source code distribution site,so I HIGHLY doubt that ANY (even in India) device will get oreo on September the 7th

H990DS is global device,not carrier or region dependant.So if the update is released in one region,logically,it will be released worldwide and be OTA available directly from LG.AS per-se,the oreo update for LG v20 H990DS is getting update at 7th september around the world
