I am following news of this phone about 6 months and cant wait to buy it. This time LG makes vabank to compete with Samsung. It would be great phone with every angle, even I think it is better than Note8.
I ve just read about camera tests of Nokia 8, galaxy s8 and G6, s8 have a best camera but G6 followed closely behind even it used old Sony lens. But this time v30 will have f/1.6 lens camera and it would be enough to beat Note8.
Best camera, best sound quality, great bezelless screen (531ppi), newest chipset, water proof ip68 certified, face and sound recogniation even when the screen is off and some surprize features such new floating bar (instead of secondary screen) and immersion touchsense... And it is cheaper 200 $ than Note8.
I also hope that the price will drop within the quarter year, as it was before.

I also recommend buying a powerbear 6600mah extended battery if you don't mind the extra size and bulk. I can get 2 days out of a charge with medium usage.

My V10 is getting old. I need a removable battery phone. With the Note 8, iPhone 8, and now LG V30 with sealed batteries, what are my options?

Yes i agree with you, 16 MP is enough, but definitely not 12 ot 13. Samsung galaxy s6 have 16mp, s8 12mp, LG V20 16mp, V30 13mp, G6 13mp, so why not to make galaxy s9 with 8 MP camera ? :) And once again, i know that megapixels are not as important as f or sensor size.

If No, then 16mp is more than enough for todays smartphone considering camera are still using the same MP. More important things in phone cams are low f-stops and quality image stabilizer. And of course battery.

I dont know why LG decided to put 16Mpx sensor, but it seems like with f/1.6 its best to have 16Mpx (i didnt expect its Mpx to change).

What is the deal with 13 or 12MP cameras in almost all new smartphones ? I know that MP is not the most important in cameras, but i like when i can watch my pictures on big screen monitor with decent amount of details or zoom in more without loosing details. They should put at least 20 MP in all phones with a choice to lower the resolution if you want, like Huawei, or sony. Now i am using old LG G4, it still has very good camera with 16MP f/1.8, and the only thing stopping me from buying new phone is less amount of MP.

I was waiting for the Sony XZ Premium, but it turns out it doesn't have fingerprint security. Totally turned off... now I am going to wait for the V30 and see what LG has to offer. I had a LG G3 and I liked it.

V20 Display was a shitt ... This Comes with OLED display ... hope so it will be best to get space in market where new and new smart phones are making place day by day

In my opinion, the V series should look unique. The V10 looks great. The V20 again has a special design(though I don't like this one). If the V30 looks as a Gaalxy S8, or a G6, it could not sell well. Maybe I am wrong, but we will see what will happen. The most important thing should be the shock resistance. If this will be made out of glass, it will fail!!

Take the g6 and v20 for example... both have 5.7" screens, but the g6 has an 18:9 ascpect ratio, while the v20 has a 16:9, and you can look at the phones, and realize, the v20 has a bigger screen. So in conclusion, the v30 should be the size or smaller than the v20, especially with the smaller bezels, and with no secondary screen (khm LG...).
