Alvin MuJi, 29 Jun 2017The 13 MP Camera from 16 of the V20, why???? Megapixels dont make a good camera, sensors yes....dont matter if you have 24 Mpx if your sensors are crappy.

I really hope LG dont toss Second Display, Superb Sound, FM Radio and IR Blaster, also removable battery, those are little things that make V Series a real flagship phones.

LG's 'V' series (only two, so far) is a Multimedia / Content Creating Champion (in my opinion). These two aspects are what makes this series so awesome. Any changes made to the LG V30 should only strengthen and enhance it's Multimedia prowess and Content Creating arsenal. Having (keeping) a removable battery and expandable storage should be a standard feature in such devices. IR Transmitter, FM Radio, Quad DAC ....and maybe even a stylus (one day) will keep the 'V' line of LG my first option when I'm planning to buy my next smartphone. LG knows it's V series is a super smartphone.... my concern is : Are they smart enough to keep it that way ?

Amoled screen 128 internal bezeless design, Main changes just think only last year bought V20 DS for 500$and now buy again for specs, on screen only, main purpose same, but itch in the ass, to change, even sell previous at half price and buy on full price is obnoxious! Just think how many of end consumers ultimately bear loss and problems risks of Brick Phone, for A piece of toy to listen talk, enough is enough!

NO, IP68 dust/water resistance is far from a gimmick. It really works. And now it's becoming standard with top tier manufacturers, so LG has to compete with that feature.

Maybe you are thinking of years past and with lower IP ratings?

LG is not known for large battery capacity, at 6.2" OLED display it'll still probably be under 3600mAh & usually the case no stereo speakers either. V series still LG's most innovative device line, G4, V10, G5 & V20 have failed with the "B" issue.

on the qslide, please place a speaker on both sides as stereo not mono, and must be a water proof device.

waterproofing is never really water-proof to the extent one doesn't have to worry about the phone in water it is just a gimmick... instead of removable battery LG can make an option for people to easily maintain the phone at home with a screwdriver exchange a battery if needed, no reason for fancy brittle glass back which will have to be covered with a case, instead the phone should be made strong.
large 6.2 inch screen size sounds great!
keep the fantastic audio recording microphones from the V20

AnonD-113400, 17 Jun 2017Phone looks good but it will be same thing again, mediocre ... moreThat battery life is do to how much power they put into those LCD displays. They push them to their limits to be as good as OLED, but sadly battery life suffers because of it. With the new OLED displays, they'll save a ton of battery life.

Phone looks good but it will be same thing again, mediocre battery life where lg all the time loses.. Someone must teach them, without good battery life lg can't sell flagships well.. Keep up crap batteries lg.

AnonD-677434, 15 Jun 2017The issue with replaceable battery (which I LOVE LG V10 own... morethe actual reasoning that it would be "cost prohibitive" to seal batteries is not because the IP rating...it to bring the consumer in to pay extra money for repairs...for new batteries (if supported..some are hardwired or glued to the device)...and planned obsolescence, as the battery is normally, the first component to begin failing.

Now, if graphene batteries take off, (they're prototyping), we can see 7 times capacity and 7 times longevity, which would meet most consumer needs in 1 battery.
