Hey guyz
I don't know what to get
This(or V30+) vs Xperia XZ1 vs G7 ThinQ
I figured that the ThinQ will last me more, but at te same time I always wanted a Sony..
I like the design of the V30 and all specs fit me, but I just don't know..
I focus on performance and battery life, as well as camera quality(color and low light and resolution) but I don't know what to pick. While I wait for you guys to post your own opinions(don't talk to me about specs, I know them all by heart, just tell me your opinion on these phones and if you have one of the models listed above then please tell so I consider your opinion as more realistic) I will go around my school asking people what they would prefer.
I want it to last me three years and I am probably gonna get it next year or 2 yrs later so pls consider that. I also like the big screen of LG but I still don't know what to pick.

Edit: I also care about water resistance and shockproofness(that's one of the reasons I considered LG and also I kinda wanted an LG so that's why I considered it).

I checked specs again on G8x,I have not used or touched this phone. Size and weight is bigger than G8 and V30, I don't want that. Apart from that it's probably a really good phone.

LG is so slow and rarely provide update.

I want to buy this phone for the audio quad dac but I'm from Europe, so is it the same quad dac for european market as for asian, does it comes with volume limitation, does bang & olufsen have contract with lg to take care of the audio segment for asian market only or globally?

Most important: The Note 10, LG V30 and LG G8 is the absolute maximum size I want from a phone, so that leaves out the V50. The G8 I somehow wanted, but I knew the battery life would disappoint me compared to the V30. Also I couldnt get the G8 here in Scandinavia.

Sold my V30 recently for a new Samsung Note 10, since got for free at work. Physically dimensions are more or less the same, but the V30 was easier to handle for some reason. I also felt lighter in use, even weight is not much different. I was expecting similar battery life, ref the GSMarena tests, but the V30 is in practical use one step better on battery life. I.e I was always impressed of the V30s battery life, but the Note10 is slightly worse, and hence it disappoints me more often than surprises me. The Note 10 front camera is WAY much better than the V30s, and the Note 10 main camera is also much better than the V30's, although I could live with the main V30 camera quality. The V30 front camera was just always not very good. The V30 snapdragon 835 was as snappy or even more snappy in use compared to the Note 10 Exynos 9825. V30 video editing was better and simpler than on the Note 10. Conclusion: I would prefer a LG V30 v2, with same or maybe slightly less physical dimensions, same or better battery life and updated processor and cameras. Important to keep it as light as the V30. That would be a winner for LG.

My LG V30+ DS with software version V20f-AME-XX (Middle East version) is still on Android Oreo. I sent an email inquiry to LG middle east regarding the schedule update of LG V30 to Android Pie and here is their response; "Kindly note that there's no official information regarding the next software update...". That moment, I loose my hope that my phone will get Android 9 update. My second phone, Pixel 1, got Android 10 last September, and it was even released October 2016. I might switch to the company that is diligent in updating OS and android security patch (could be Androidone or latest Google phone).

Already update to pie, but after update wifi giving me big problem, disconnect so many times, any body having same problem after update or any body know how to fix it, already did network reset.
