Good smartphone.
Front camera poor.
Software update very poor.
I will not take any more LG smartphone if they are going to be updating at this speed.

Been using this for past 3 months. Great phone,vibrant display, snappy performance, good cameras(Rear), Fantastic audio via headphones, solid build, dependable battery, stupid UI, no updates( Not even monthly patches). Utterly bad front camera.

I dun find lg ui any ugly. If u dun like the outlook u can go lg smart world. Plenty of themes are available.

Literally V30 model Defamed by LG Alone, first 6 months no wear available, then 850$ but 64 storage, later V30+ 128 storage but 4gb ram, then V30S 128+6gb Ram. Them V30S Think, Lastly V35S all to utilise 835 chipset. Jumbled Up and no sales picked up! Than confusion in clients! Forget and dammed V30, just watch V40 by September, what nonsense it is marketed!

I think its better for u to go for Samsung s8 plus.
I have lg v30 and not very happy because of very slow pace of lg as far updates are concern.
Over all its very good package but ui is not that great ,I had to for nova launcher with pixel like setup.
On the other hand s8+ is way better in everything compared to lg v30 except camera section in my opinion.
So I think u should go for Samsung s8 plus.
LG never respond to any comtomer needs like upgrades etc.
Now we are already in mid of 2018 and still there is no Oreo update for LG V30+.

Everybody is praising it entirely, where we're you when years old model was released a year back, it's hard to resell Black V30+ even at half price! It's all failure tactics, used by LG mobile division! Butter to come clean out as of One plus One Chinese brand, all top of line specs at half the retail price!

All Nitwits, V40 is launching in September, only envy is it's totally overhaul UI and Bold option in Fonts! Rest will be History. Otherwise just stick to whatever you have and wait for iPhone 6.5" Oled!

I had changed from S8 to HTC U11 to LG V30+ last year in 6 months but Still holding tight to LG V30+ sinc Dec 2017 and hoping to get the Oreo update by this month. If not I am moving out from LG forever.

i bought it 3 times. couldn't switch to another phone. it's the complete package.
screen, battery, weight, sound, camera, software, shape, wireless charging. there's nothing at all i hate about this phone no matter how i try to.
switched to S9 for a week, then back, iphone x for 3 weeks, then back.
every other phone like P20 pro, Oneplus 6, etc has a missing feature like wireless charging, or being heavy, or not a good camera.
LG V30+ is a legendary phone that is unfortunately underrated.
