3300 mAh in a 6.4" and Snapdragon 845 Phone? I bet this will have GREAT Battery life (sarcasm)

V40 is good, no doubt. A dual SIM with dedicated microSD (3 slots), IR, 4000 mAh battery is what would complete it as worthy successor to my V20.

I'm always connected 4G/WiFi, no gaming, corporate emails, couple of IMs, no Facebook, checking news few times a day, a bit of music and moderate calls daily. I use V20 camera most of the times for family pics in difficult situations (indoor, mall, backlit outdoor) other than dedicated events when I carry my DSLR.

My V20 does all this for me, but the battery is pathetic. I've Hyperion 6400 mAh extended battery to go through the day. Have another 5000 mAh slip in doc kind. These stay in my backpack without any inconvenience most of the times.

I'll give it a miss without 3 slots, IR and good battery. These are a must to upgrade. I'm not after free OS updates as such, apps never really catch up without issues and iterations, so stability is the key for me and must be for anybody, but security updates are a must.

jhpandu, 07 Oct 2018LG first fix the issues that are in LG V30 .What issues?

After the existence of Galaxy Note9, there is no way that I'll consider buying an LG phone these days.

P-OLED great, 3.5 mm jack good, 5 camera? absolutely yes, a notched display with thin chin is acceptable, 3300 mAh battery? it's a joke.

Everything is great except for the small battery (As always), the notch and the fact that it's LG (They are not exactly known for their great hardware and software quality. Their phones always have poor reception, always overheating and whatnot).
