There are lots of stories about it happening with the V60. As for power consumption, it doesn't use much power as the main screen resolution bumps down to 1080p when using the Dual Screen case.

It's much more practical than foldable screen ph... morehell yeah! and i would imagine it's more robust than those fragile fold since all the screens pretty much protected by glasses for lg case and not to mention user pretty much have the options, when you need to multitask user can put the dual screen on, when they don't then just using the phone like normally

          what's wrong with the usb c connector? i thought pogo pin draw more power than usb c for the dual screen case. does v50 also have desktop mode?

            Anonymous, 05 Jun 2023the idea of multitasking using 2 screens just too exciting ... moreIFKR! It's much more practical than foldable screen phones since it doesn't have to suffer from screen splitting incompatibility, which still happens on a lot of apps like Instagram and Netflix. You can independently use two different apps on both screens without any problem. You can even set different audio level between the two apps regardless on the phone speaker or a wired headset or even a wireless earbuds.

            Mine's a V50. I'm not going for the V50s since the Dual Screen case for it doesn't rely on pogo pin, unlike the V50.

Sony comes close with the Xperia 1, but there's no built-in DAC, custom Desktop Mode, and active stylus support. Even the detachable Dual Screen case is a practical masterpiece. I sold off my Samsung Galaxy Fold for my LG V50 because of the Dual Screen case, and I never looked back. I don't even regret or miss my old Fold. Even with the five generations of Samsung's foldable screen smartphones, alongside its clones, I still don't see it being any better than a dual display solution.

This is a software issue and Samsung has fixed this issue also Xiamoi and OnePlus also solved this issue through updates but LG didn't put up his attention on to this major setback

And is there any improvement has came to fix greenish tint and Chrominance overshoot (crush black) in android 13 on T_Mobile??? I'm very much disappointed with poor gama calibration in a flagship device

Chrominance overshoot and greenish tint are very weird issues in V60, i don't know if there any improvement in Gama calibrations in android 12 and 13..... If anyone noticed then kindly tell me

                                    I'm currently using V60 8/256 T-Mobile variant and I will be using it for years to come. The inevitable lack of updates for the V60 is not a deal-breaker for me. Also, I don't need to have the latest specs or technology available for smartphones as long as my V60 does its job smoothly. I'm already happy and content for what V60 can offer.

                                    The main reasons why I chose V60 are the ff:
                                    • ES9219 SABRE® DAC
                                    • 5G
                                    • Expandable memory (I added an authentic 1TB SD card)
                                    • Price (Bought a used V60 but it's worth it)
                                    • Chipset, RAM, and Internal Memory (Sufficient enough for future-proofing)
                                    • Screen (I love everything OLED — from TVs and laptops to smartphones. Even though the V60 does not have a 2K resolution and a high refresh rate, it is still equipped with P-OLED and HDR10+ and I'm fine with that)

                                      CNET performed a 'Drop Test a few years back for phone cases and Supcase came out on top. Supcase Unicorn Beatle Pro is a good case for 28.00 2020 dollars. I always carry phone around in the 'holster for protection. Supcase is your best bet. I also have the V60.
