    Ingame brightness at 140%
HdR and extreme (no frame drops for all 4 maps at all)
    AA on
    Shadows on

Phone itself at 100% display brightness.

This thing does not want to die went it comes to battery life hahaha.

Dennis.K, 08 Jun 2020Could you also tell me more about the video including the 8... moreUnfortunately I don't have the G8 so I can't directly compare them but the V40 should be close which I do have. The V40 takes decent enough pictures in bright light but falters some in low to normal room light compared to the V60. The V40 defaults to main sensor in these conditions on zooming & it really shows plus it is harder for me to get a good picture in bright light die to the lack of optical image stabilization on the V40 zoom lens. The V60 always uses the main sensor which has optical image stabilization. Also zooming in on the V60 you don't loose resolution as fast in lower light conditions as you do on the V40. It keeps the 64MP zoom crop on longer as you go down in lighting than when the V40 stops using the zoom sensor.

Overall you should get better pictures from the V60 than the G8.

Dennis.K, 08 Jun 2020I HATE the size of this phone, it's the one thing that stsn... moreThe cameras are quite good, especially the main camera. LG however did not do the best on optimising the software as it tends toward overexposure. I found that I can get better results by touching & holding the desired focal point activating the focus & exposure hold which opens the possibly of adjusting the exposure even though you are in auto mode.

Also 64MP auto mode takes really detailed photos especially outdoors in good light, however do not try to zoom in when in 64MP auto mode as you will get a lot of color aberration. Use the zoom function of the 16MP auto mode as once you zoom beyond 2X it switches to taking a full resolution 64MP picture & cropping it with just a very small amount of post processing & they look great with precious little color aberration if any.

Also try to avoid using the flash as it changes the post processing & not for the better unless the flash is absolutely necessary to get the shot. Note that auto 16MP mode doesn't even offer the use of flash. You only get that option in manual or 64MP auto mode.

The ultra wide camera is not bad but not any kind of upgrade at all. The selfie camera is not bad at all but don't like the beauty modes which fortunately you can turn off not to mention the selfie distortion setting compensation should be shut off as well in settings as this actually causes jumpy on off compensation that does not look good in the viewfinder. The beauty mode has to be turned off every time you open the selfie cam. Once you turn off selfie distortion compensation it stays off though unlike beauty mode. The selfie camera actually has auto focus unlike previous V series phones & it works well.

Both main & selfie record video in 4K/60 frames per second. Main camera does 8K video as well but 4K is so good that 8K not really needed.

                  Hope all this helps

Germanium, 08 Jun 2020I actually like the long screen & it is not any narrowe... moreI HATE the size of this phone, it's the one thing that stsnd between me and this phone, although I am a compact phone lover, this is not the reason I want the V60, yeah I coulve gone with a G8 but I'm not too aure about the caneras

ploppie, 07 Jun 2020this screen is just tooooo long and not so wide very clums... moreI actually like the long screen & it is not any narrower than any of the older V series.at least not the V30 or V40 as I have all 3 in my house now & have compared them. The weight can be an issue but its pretty well balanced however the google button does get in the way of holding it in a way that takes advantage of that balance so I disabled it.

This for me is definitely a 2 handed phone but a good part of that is due to my stroke & dispraxia which I have had since birth. I have very poor coordination & would likely drop any phone if I tried to work them one handed.

I have had the V20, V30,V40 & v60. To me the V50 was too much like the V40 to upgrade from. The V60 is definitely an upgrade from the V40 though, especially in the camera department after much testing. I originally bought these for the DAC then later on the cameras plus the ability to add storage.

The V60 is definitely a chunky device both size & weight but also comes with great battery life unlike the V20 which was worst of the one I have owned but battery was replaceable which none of the others are easily replaceable. Each of the later versions was an upgrade in cameras over the last though not always in every way. Overall the V60 represents the best in cameras of the V series so far & still represents the best in sound overall both speakers & headphones.

Maybe you can take a look for a while, Sir.

Sepfian, 07 Jun 2020So, this V60 is not the best of LG in your opinion, Sir? ... moreWell maybe yes, but no

They are focusing on bringing basically all that you really NEED as a power user at a price lower than most flagships in 2020 (cause oh boy are these prices getting ridiculous)

                                One one hand, you get:
                                -A new 64MP cam bringing 8K video

-A new ToF sensor for portrait (and maybe portrait video I'm not sure)

-A bigger battery and with that comes faster charging at 25W

-A bigger display (a minus for me)

-A new 10MP selfie w/ PDAF bringing stabilized 4K@60 selfie video to the table

-stylus support (I doubt that's new, but the thing about LG's is itnworks with other 3rd party stylus pens

On the other hand, you're losing:

-QHD+ display (and it seems dolby vision is gone too)

                                -Ultrawide sensor from V50

-telephoto cam cause the V60 crops in

                                And that's about it

Thank you for the information, anyway, i will take a little research of this

Sepfian, 07 Jun 2020What is the spesific one of G8, Sir? Features of G8 that stand out to me are:

Compact 6.1" QHD+ display (meaning it's gonna be pixel dense)
3D ToF cameras for face & palm ID (and maybe also portraits)
1080p@60 selfie video (seriously!! Some top tier thousand dollar flagship phone can't even put that, let alone 4K selfie video!)
Rest of specs are on G8 spec sheet link down below
