When will this phone arrive in Europe? August 2020? I hope that my nerves will last that long. :)

Sound quality wise LGs are slightly more refined and some more headphone driving power. Vibe X3 was and still is an incredible smartphone and sound quality wise there are just two phones that can slightly better it. LG V series and Vivo NEX(Nex s in china). I own both.

Audio quality wise Vibe X3 is still a great option. And oh how can I forget the best front facing stereo speakers ever implemented on a phone.

I have Lenovo Vibe X3 and still working good until today for my daily music player. I wanna replace it to this V60, is the sound quality V60 is better than Vibe X3?

I am worried about V40's battery backup after GSMArena battery endurance tests produced some pathetic results. For a power user like me the V30 barely makes through a day. Will the V40 even last the evening?

In India, we only get the dual SIM version of LG V30+ (B&O) version with 4 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. Currently retails for dirt cheap $150 brand new. I have 2 of them in black & silver as LGs are so cheap in our country. Here, we can have a LG G7+ with 6 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage for around $206 wheres V40 is around $270.

Is is worth upgrading from V30 to V40 from headphone audio perspective?

Hey LG, This phone is nearly perfect for me except for the dual sim global unlocked version. WHEN are you going to release this in Global Dual Sim Version???
Buying this immediately when there is a Global Dual sim, Not buying another carrier version with bloatware, please release it ASAP before others release better options as I cannot wait any longer.

As far as I know the Samsung s10e which was the last proper compact version of a flagship sold quite well. I bet if LG does something similar in size and weight with specs similar to the v60, downgrading the cameras and display it will be a no brainer option for many people despite LG's bad support on updates. And I am pretty sure LG desperately needs one good selling device at the moment.

                          A. SD865 and 5G so that it is future proof. B. Quad DAC & 3.5mm jack (being an audiophile anything else is a no go). C. MicroSD support
IP68 is a bonus and I don't care about the rest or the specs.
Only thing that bothers me is the size. If LG makes a G9 with similar specs and keep its size ~ 150mm it will be the obvious choice for my next phone.

Are we such a small target group and there are more phone out there with those specs?

The only caveat is the LGs doesn't seem to like Planar-type headphones very well (noticeably lower power to them). Stick with dynamic (plenty of great choices available), get a 3rd party dedicated music app like UAPP, and you'll have a dynamite player that doubles as a phone too!

I honestly don't hear enough of a difference to warrant the upgrade--and I'm using some very high-quality headphones too. The V50 will have the same sound & tuning as the V40.
