I just got the Velvet 5g dual SIM version for about a week now. The phone is quite impressive and works well and my only disappointment is LG's implementation of the dual SIM calling. You cannot make a call by choosing the SIM card that you want, you have to disable one SIM card in order to use the other one and vice versa. If LG could fix this problem, this phone will fly the LG flag high.

There is an LG VELVET 4G version, which is the one this user owns and to which he is comparing to the LG VELVET 5G version. As he clearly states at the beginning of his comment, the LG VELVET 4G has a different Snapdragon version.

                        Worst phone I've ever owned. Once you're in a game app it's almost impossible to get out. you can swipe in every direction 20+ times and still can't get out. Very frustrating. Does not even come with a user manual.

With dual screen, it is still very thin and not heavy. I have used LG Velvet and LG V50S both with dual screens. They are top excellent phones for people who want to do prodictivity or multiple apps at one time. LG V50S is thicker but still comfortable size to hold and use. LG Velvet in thinner and taller - I found it perfect to use, in my view.

Th... moreI have excellent battery life on my LG Velvet 5G - even watching YouTube video on dual screen and using two apps on main screen along with pop up apps, I got little over 5 hours from 82% to ~ 45% battery, so could have done 10 hours this way! I had phone on medium power saving mode and brightness setting was on enough for what I needed and that gave me excellent long battery life.

So three a... moreActually, you can have 2 apps on main screen, plus one app on dual screen, plus you can have numerous other apps in pop up or bubble (like in Galaxy Note) on main screen. The pop up apps, like in Galaxy Note phones and Tabs, work really well altogether.

                                    I'm using velvet for few months, very satisfy with it by now. Software is good optimized, and it's on september security patch. There is update every month. How can someone comment if don't own this fone? 🤔 By the way, i have EU open model. Great job LG.

                                      767$ for Snapdragon 765G is overpriced

                                        LG delivered a very late security update then turned off the update servers. That's not a good sign.
