Is there a short of "Glove Mode" in the LG Velvet? (A capability of changing the screen's sensitivity so you can use it with normal gloves)
Also, could someone remap/reprogram the "Google Assistant" button to another app? Thanks in advance!

luee, 07 Mar 2021Why do they insist on making a double screen? Does anyone ... morei have the v50s + dual screen... and i actually bought it for productivity... charts + trading platform, web browser/youtube/zoom app + word processor... helped a lot during pandemic, though I am at wfh, i can bring my "work" our from my room with less things to bring... i can describe it as "non obstructing folding phone" as i can use it as a "regular phone" and a folding one when needed...

Why do they insist on making a double screen? Does anyone really use them? Just looking for a good 5g. I had bad experience with 4 stylo could not make calls with extensions too underpowered. On paper this should be better.

ASUSBOY9823, 23 Jan 2021What does LG stand for?its stands for largest garbage.Life's Good.

Been using it for a while now, at this mobile is much better than it's reputation. Bought in Europe, very well priced now, on line with Motorola Edge, Sony Xperia 10 etc, but you are getting at lot for the money: Waterproof, great screen, jack, 5g. There is not a lot of bloatware, and what there is can be uninstalled.
On the plus side is a wonderfull design and it feels good in your hand. The screen is crisp clear with nice vivid colors, the screen is very responsive to touch and the fingerprint sensor works great. GPS works fast and is very accurate. The sound Quality is very good, also with built in speakers. The interface and software works flawless. The 765G seems to be more than enough. Good batteri life.
Not so good is perhaps the camera. It takes great pics in daylight, but not so good in low light conditions. I Think low light quality is due to software.
In all, a very great phone for the price!

If the rumors of LG exiting are true, I hope they release these phones:

                        LG Velvet 2:
6.7" P-OLED 19:9 ratio curved display with 1080p@90Hz (I know...smaller than the 1st one) with waterdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 5 minimum
                        8GB RAM/128GB ROM - 8GB RAM/256GB ROM (LPDDR4X/UFS 3.0) with MicroSD card slot
Dimensity 1100 (to keep the price down; still better than the 765G) with all of the existing 4G/5G bands
                        IP68 with MIL-STD-G certs

                        Stereo speakers
Headphone jack with a 24-bit DAC (weaker than the V-series)

64MP main sensor with 1.7 apeture and OIS
16MP Ultrawide sensor with 2.4 apeture and EIS
8MP Telephoto sensor with 2.7 apeture and OIS

                        24MP selfie cam

4,300mAH battery (to keep it slim; at least MediaTek's efficiency would make this battery work perfectly) with 21W/15W wired and wireless charging

$700/$750 for the price (these things don't come that cheap)

                        LG Velvet 2 Lite:
                        6.4" P-OLED curved display 19:9 aspect ratio with 1080p@90Hz; Gorilla Glass 3
Dimensity 720 with all of the 4G/5G bands available
                        6GB RAM/128GB ROM (LPDDR4X/UFS 2.1)
                        MIL-STD-G and IP67

                        Stereo speakers
                        Headphone jack but no DAC

Same camera setup as the first Velvet (even with the OIS)

                        16MP selfie cam

4,000mAH battery (with Dimensity, the battery life will still be killer with the above processor) with 18W fast wired charging (no wireless to cut on costs)

$400 for this one as a solid mid-ranger.

I don't care for curved displays but these 2 could attract a good number of folks with solid hardware for the price. Throw in a 3rd generation second screen for just the Velvet 2 that has 1080p@90Hz along with an added 2,700mAH battery and MIL-STD-G rating to protect the phone for $100 extra and that would do it. As long as LG can give it at least one OS upgrade, it's better than nothing.
