At the moment, LG doesn't seed Android 11 to the V50 and I'm very hopeful that they will do it. But if you do focus on camera performance, buy the V50. As a sidenote, both V50 and the Velvet has their own DualScreen case.

LG is dead. Now you have one less brand to complain about. Go back to your same same phones from China.

Heretic Verethragna, 19 Mar 2021Is it worth it to buy for 340usd without the dual screen... more7T for flagship-grade chipset and camera versatility, Pixel for a timely OS update and security patches, Velvet for a larger battery, microSD card support, and Desktop Mode since LG has recently updated its Desktop Mode feature for Android 11 and now calling it Screen+.
P.S If you prefer to have a headphone jack, you can choose between the Pixel and this Velvet.

Not happy with this phone at all! I purchased it Nov 2020 and it would lock up about twice a month. Now, after a recent update, can't sent pics via text when on Wi-Fi!? Can't text at all in group chats on Wi-Fi. LG says they are working on a patch... it's been over a week now!! Too bad as LG is known to have good products, but this one is not. Not a hardware issue but system problems. I will be going back to Samsung!
