If the rumors of LG exiting are true, I hope they release these phones:

LG Velvet 2:
6.7" P-OLED 19:9 ratio curved display with 1080p@90Hz (I know...smaller than the 1st one) with waterdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 5 minimum
8GB RAM/128GB ROM - 8GB RAM/256GB ROM (LPDDR4X/UFS 3.0) with MicroSD card slot
Dimensity 1100 (to keep the price down; still better than the 765G) with all of the existing 4G/5G bands
IP68 with MIL-STD-G certs

Stereo speakers
Headphone jack with a 24-bit DAC (weaker than the V-series)

64MP main sensor with 1.7 apeture and OIS
16MP Ultrawide sensor with 2.4 apeture and EIS
8MP Telephoto sensor with 2.7 apeture and OIS

24MP selfie cam

4,300mAH battery (to keep it slim; at least MediaTek's efficiency would make this battery work perfectly) with 21W/15W wired and wireless charging

$700/$750 for the price (these things don't come that cheap)

$400 for this one as a solid mid-ranger.

I don't care for curved displays but these 2 could attract a good number of folks with solid hardware for the price. Throw in a 3rd generation second screen for just the Velvet 2 that has 1080p@90Hz along with an added 2,700mAH battery and MIL-STD-G rating to protect the phone for $100 extra and that would do it. As long as LG can give it at least one OS upgrade, it's better than nothing.

      Not worth the price at all
      Camera is not so great as well
      P40 Samsung is way better
      Wish i had somebody tell me tgis before buying it
      Nice to look at though ...i still get compliments on how nice it looks

          Why does this not specify it has gorilla glass 5 (as advertised also on corning's page)?

              The double tap does not always work and in the morning when the alarm goes off the screen does not come on wher it shows dismiss alarm .Phone is only 2 months old

                      I m LG gan boy. But this time thiss will be last mobile in my life. Fedup.these guys dont develope good bye lags brand. Lg wing new model new fresh look. But 765g how foolish. Battery very low how temperature handles.velvet 845snapdragon. Lag star . Lite lg bye my friend.

                              Yesterday got the LG velvet 5G 765G Grey -Single screen. (a bit late to the party).

                              Some of these factors may help others to choose the phone.

                              Advantages
                              1) Good battery life
                              2) The slim design makes it easy to hold (Perfectly fits in my jeans pocket)
                              3) Fast performance for a mid-range 5g phone
                              4) Waterproof (One of the best 5G midrange phone with waterproof)
                              5) Some good features in camera+ video
                              6) Lite weight

                              Disadvantage
                              1) Long battery charging time (0 to 100% from 7:20 to 9:27) While charging played youtube 1080p for 10 minutes and few times checked the battery % (so display on). WIFI connected & good 4G coverage.
                              2) Fingerprint scanner will work 2 out of 5 times.
                              3)

                              "Not bad, not good" aspects
                              1) Camera in low light is not that great in capturing colour
                              2) Display colour reproduction is not perfect with white and black. White is more bluish, black is greyish. (Of course, not all display produce the same output ... matter of getting used to it).

                              These factors when compared to the price I have paid.
                              IMHO, this smartphone is the best one with good quality vs price ratio.
                              If you need a brand other than the usual "Sam...g" ,Hua...i", 1...+

It has a 'P-OLED' screen that's 6.8'' and *no* useless macro camera (great) and then they only gave it a 48 MP main sensor and 25W charging... why. :(

                                      79h endurance seems a bit low.

                                        Has anyone experienced with any problems with LG VELVET issues like battery, if it's slow charging, You can either charge ur phone on wire or wireless in "Airplane Mode" really works, other tips disable all apps u don't use because this time came with less bloatware u can uninstall, and keep using Smart Cleaning really works and check for apps and software updates........
