I had the V50 Dual screen and now LG Wing. I can give first hand feedback on the pros of the Wing.

Using V50, once dual screen is opened up, you basically have to use two hands to hold, type text and so on. even taking pictures requires the screen to be open as it would blocked the rear camera is second screen is flip back, same goes to selfie shots. Yes 2 full size screens are better of cos, but those are seriously the cons.

Wing on the other hand, once flipped up, you can still hold comfortably with 1 hand, texting can still be done. both cameras front and back have no issue in any configuration. watch video and holding on the bottom portion is an ease and no longer having your hands blocking or accidentally touching the screen.

With the size of apps and lack of network coverage where I spend my summer's I need internal storage / expandable. Ram is always good, storage is always good, screen size to weight ratio is a HUGE factor (my galaxy note9 is rather heavy) and good camera's are a must.
At least your not one of those weirdo's hung up on the IR blaster.

Kujtim Zymeri , 30 Oct 2020I hate the big devices. go back to your nokia 3310 then

Like why would I prefer a phone with 2 screens but one of them half size over a phone with 2 screens but each of them full size?

Thinner? LG could have made their current solution thinner too.

          All this phone is fancy.

The phone looks awesome.....but........I would put 2 slim speakers on the back of the short side edges of the main swivel screen so when swiveled it will have back stereo sound and when closed as well cause there will be 1 speaker at top and 1 at bottom.....I can give up on the 3.5mm out put, but then offer APTX HD for wireless HD audio....Im an Audio guy so thats something for me.....I have the G8X with Dual Screen and its awesome....I don't care about the extra weight......good workout for the wrist :-)

I think this phone would be better if they make it compact and greater software.

                Hello
this version has Stereo speaker in Indian Version. could you guy please update

Had this phone for just over a week now. Cannot find decent cases and screen protectors first off, because of the swiveling screen... I have been very careful with this phone not dropped or abused wiped down after every use because I love the phone its a solid phone! But I came across an issue my screen is becoming very loose and I inspected the sides of the phone it is slightly misaligned as well it still does its swivel but when I type when its in "normal mode" (not swiveled open) I get this slight clack from the top screen hitting the screen underneath every single letter I type... I might of gotten a defective phone just didn't notice at first because I was in such awe at this phone. But I think I am going to be returning my LG WING which is sad I was really loving this phone but I don't want another one cause I am very concerned about the hinge and this problem happening to me again.

                    too heavy

Aidan, 23 Nov 2020Then use Bluetooth earbuds/headphones I'm not sure if you are sarcastic or being stupid, but FM Radio cannot be accessible using Bluetooth.

Nitz, 28 Oct 2020Keeping aside its unique design and the fact that I'm ... moreSwiveling phones with moving parts like LG Wing are always made with some compromises. A traditional bar shaped phone like LG G8X have some inherent advantages like no moving parts which helps it easily achieving IP68 rating, inclusion of big 4000 mAh battery & still space left to cram in a 3.5 mm audio jack with awesome QuadDAC.

For Wing, there is a huge mechanical hinge assembly inside the phone holding the display to the phone back side to provide the swiveling movement. This assembly eats up lot a space inside the phone. When ever we have moving parts, water may also sip in through the hinge. So we get lower IP54 rating.

Then there is a second display which eats more space. From what I read LG wanted to give Wing a reasonable sized battery to power two screens, so after fitting the same battery of G8X (4000 maH) there were no room left for the audio jack. Two displays will eat up a lot of battery so this size in minimum i believe. Mind you Wing 10 mm taller than G8X, with the same size battery but still the hinge mechanism ate of lot of valuable internal space. This is why LG Velvet with similar size of Wing has a bigger battery and audio jack because it is a traditional bar phone.

I just realized something when I read back the review: There is a proper FM Radio support. I mean, how is that even possible when there is no 3.5mm audio jack? I don't really think there is a USB Type-C (USB-C) earphone in the box like in the Samsung Galaxy A80, and I so doubt if that dongle can really be used as the antenna.

wow gamer, 31 Oct 2020Headphone jack is dead now, move past 2015/early 2016 we ar... moreYou know why LG still retains the 3.5mm audio jack for their normal smartphones? Simple: You can't use Quad DAC on wireless audio. And then, there's the question of audio quality and also sound lag especially if it's out of range, not forgetting the unnecessary battery life. If you really say audio jack is dead, why Sony is bringing it back for the Xperia 1 ii and Xperia 5 ii? They could have just carried forward on not putting it back again.

I used to be on the wireless audio bandwagon for a very long time and I decided NOT to embrace it anymore. Just give me a 3.5mm audio jack all day tqvm.

Just get an adapter or wireless headphones because as they became the new standard for normal use scenarios (you don’t really need wired headphones or earphones unless you play on pc really) they are cheaper
                                        I can understand the 260g
I can understand gorilla glass 6 instead of 5
For water resistance, you shouldn’t expect much. There has to be some openings around there for the second display, maybe to help it function or keep it cooler idk. If you want to go outside it can probably handle a few rain drops but if you want to take it underwater this phone ain’t your friend
                                        I understand speakers aswell
