Magic UI 4 Beta arriving to Honor 20, 20 Pro, and V20
The next devices in line for Magic UI 4 are the Honor 20, 20 Pro, and Honor V20. This is according to a Huawei Central reader. The outlet reports that Honor is launching a closed Beta for the new firmware update for global variants. Meanwhile the Chinese variants of these devices are already on the second build of the same Beta.
Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20Magic UI 4 is the Honor counterpart of Huawei’s EMUI 11, which is based on Android 11. As previously reported, Huawei and Honor devices updated to EMUI 11/Magic UI 4 will be on the list to receive Huawei’s incoming Harmony OS, which is the company’s answer to the Huawei ban, which has blacklisted its products from being able to use Google services.
If you have one of these Honor devices and wish to register for the Beta, you need to download the Beta app (check Source link), and login with your Huawei ID. Then select Personal > Join Project > Available Project > and if available, you’ll be able to sign up for the Beta program.
Earlier today, Huawei announced that it’s reached 10 million EMUI 11 users around the globe. The Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and the Mate 30 Pro were the last devices to receive the EMUI 11 stable updates just last week. As the testing of EMUI 11/Magic UI 4 continues to older devices, Huawei hopes to begin Beta testing Hamony OS as soon as this month with stable updates scheduled to arrive in April 2021.

Since Honor is going to be separate from Huawei, I wonder if it will keep using EMUI, or use Harmony OS in the future?
