Bought a MX4 about 4 years ago, and it worked just fine since then. So I'm definetely a big fan of Meizu. Sure it is a question of preferance, so for me personaly I can say that I don't need NFC, wireless charging or LTE to be honest. I like the nice design, the camera quality and the simplicity of the flyme system. After 4 years with the Meizu MX4 I just needed something new and fresh, so I ordered the 16 plus. The DHL Express shipment status says that it has already arrived in Germany. Very excited and curious about this phone.

stanley77, 28 Aug 2018missing NFC is bis shame on that flagship and most biggest ... moreMeizu actually said that early next year, I think might be later, the Meizu 16s will be released a few months before the 17. The 16s is meant to implement everything the 16 lacked, including NFC

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2018:) :) :) apple doesn't produce any screen, just letting you... moreYes I know about that. Apple doesnt produce the screen. Of course Meizu also. I just mean that when I look the screen of the Apple standard retina display which is arround 324-326 ppi, I dont see the jaggies on the screen. I mean at normal viewing distance. Just look at the unboxing review from Techtablets on Youtube..

Gusta, 20 Aug 2018FYI.. Apple retina display which is on iPhone 6, 6s, 7, and... more:) :) :) apple doesn't produce any screen, just letting you know. they are buying them from samsung or lg. so, retina is just a word for marketing, not a technology. ppi is ppi. you can't make it sharper or worse. the difference comes with the panel type, so the technology so samsung or lg in this case. for years, apple was supported for using ips displays while Korean brands are using (am/)oled. after they moved to oled, now apple fanboys say oled is amazing :) they all believe like apple make them :)

Shadocx, 03 Sep 2018I think you actually need more ppi everytime the screen get... morePixel per inch is not something that needs to grow with display size as its a ratio that remains the same. It's the total pixel count divided by the surface of the screen(Or pixel count on screen height or width of the screen divided by the length respectively width of it). A 6.5" screen has more pixels than a 6" screen, with the same ppi. Sharpness remains the same.
"~400 ppi is enough for a 6" but, on a 6.5" display," ~400 ppi will create the same viewing experience.

Zoz, 10 Aug 2018Dude, again, you are brainwashed by marketing for needing h... moreI think you actually need more ppi everytime the screen gets bigger, because the number of pixel per inch matters alot for the display sharpness.
~400 ppi is enough for a 6" but, on a 6.5" display, the low 374 ppi will be noticeable.
