Why you don't have gorilla glass, waterproof nor water-resistant?
If you have all, you might be the first choice for me.

I do wanna try this phone. My only concerns are seeing the pentile pattern at an average ppi. And battery performance even with the decent mah number. Don't know how efficient Meizu are.

Apple retina display which is on iPhone 6, 6s, 7, and 8 is 326 ppi and it's called retina because of its sharpness. Maybe under 326 ppi is not good for Apple standard for mobile and 324 for iPad (mini). So Meizu 16 Plus is maybe same as Apple retina standar because it has 374ppi. Vivo NEX S is 388ppi and GsmArena said that it still very sharp. Lower resolution also has better advantages such as battery life and 3D perfomance..

Very good looking phone. Only let down by a poor resolution of under 400ppi.

                          This looks pretty nice.

Impressive flagship from Meizu. In-screen fingerprint scanner, optical zoom, no notch and keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack. The lack of NFC on a flagship is pretty disappointing though.

Funny they priced it 1 yuan below the Mi 8.

Theres a limit above which it is retarded to go. This is research and not marketing. I am brainwashed by research, if that even makes sense. You're the one brainwashed by marketing.

I might have been wrong, and not know that on this type of display a few pixels are skipped. But you're the marketing brainwashed guy who keeps drooling over a number, that after a certain size just doesn't add anything.
I am sure you would buy a car that can go to 400 km/h, even though you can't drive it past 130 km/h cause of limits. Good luck making the right purchase, guy!

It is instead equivalent to a 249ppi panel and just as with other similar devices (Vivo Nex) you can be sure you will see a pixelated screen even at normal viewing distance.

This hopelessnes has been brought on by the hype of AMOLED panels, but it fails at this resolution at this screen size. Had it been a 1440p S-AMOLED then problem solved, but it's not. That was probably too costly at this phone's price point, but had they opted for a IPS display of 2160*1080 then it would in actuality have had a 374ppi panel and no worries. Sadly it doesn't.
