Meizu 16X is getting unveiled on September 19

Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus have already been launched over a month ago. Rumors about a third phone, called Meizu 16X, appeared online, later getting confirmed by company CEO Jack Wong. The device will be finally unveiled next week, as the manufacturer started sending out invites for the launch event in the capital Beijing on September 19.
Interestingly enough, on the same date the competitor Xiaomi Mi 8X (or Mi 8 Youth, the name is not yet official) will be introduced in Chengdu, China.
Meizu 16X has already made an appearance on TENAA, revealing most of the specs. The new phone will have Snapdragon 710 chipset and will be coupled with 6 GB RAM. There will be 64 gigs of storage, but the company decided to skip the microSD slot. Meizu will keep the 16X away from the notch hype train and will implement a regular tall screen with 18:9 ratio and Full HD+ resolution.
There will be a dual camera on the back with a 20 MP main snapper and a 12 MP secondary sensor. The selfie shooter will also be 20 MP. Meizu 16X will come with Android Oreo and the latest Flyme all over it. On the outside, the phone is expected to be introduced in Matte Black, Ceramic White and some shade of Gold, but pricing and availability will be known at the event.
