Anonymous, 18 Dec 2015im new to meizu m1 note family. should i upgrade the flyme ... moreUpdate to latest flyme 4.5.7 based on Android 5.1 64 bit os. It's super smooth now. Most of the bugs are solved. UI is more fluid now. Battery back up is good. I get easily over 5 hours of on screen time. A new update is also on the way by the end of January or February. It's flyme 5.0. So go ahead.

im new to meizu m1 note family. should i upgrade the flyme version or stay at its default (which is based on android 4)? i worry might get problem after update, example heating or low battery life.

i had this phone for a week now. it's a second hand phone and got it as a gift. i have problems now. every time i play games it heats up then the wifi icon disappears. it's like the wifi function of the phone crashes when it heats up. what can i do about this problem?

This cell is TERRIBLY SLOW in the “Contacts”/”Calling” module.
1. It’s very slow when I try to browse the contacts. It's almost impossible to make an urgent call as the contacts are not displayed fast enough.
2. It takes more than 60 seconds if I try to search a contact!
3. When an incoming call is received, it does not show the name of the caller (just the number is displayed even if the name is part of the contacts) since it's not able to search the name quickly. So, I have to keep guessing before accepting the call.
4. The call log is NOT updated quickly after the call is over.
5. Takes more than 2 mins to show the details inside the call log for a single contact!!
6. It’s the same if I need to sms someone because basically I have to browse the contacts again. And it almost hangs when I hit the send button in the messaging module.
That's way too slow!!!!

i'm in love with this phone :) it is beautiful and the specs, superb A++
only problem i had was i think my local distributor (PH) had given me one with a defective screen when i first bought it (bought it new)...i had it repaired, they replaced the full screen for half the phone's retail price :P

rajan, 05 Dec 2015after upgrading my meizu m1 note to flyme 4.5.7 i have lost... moredid you read the changelog before upgrading? It was clearly stated from there that they will be removing 2 apps(app store and theme) from flyme 4.2.0.6i.

It just worth every penny. Get this one instead of m2 note. Flyme will take some learning time but it will be beneficial once u get used to it.

Good phone, specs, camera, battery, I dont have any problem at all, lets see now, lol! because i've upgraded the os to flyme 4.5.7i

I'm playing games like summoners war... moreit's not from any website, look for the default application named "upgrade" it's gonna show you what fyme version you are currently in, then will give you the option to upgrade to latest version which is flyme 4.7 that is already lolipop 5.1 i think
