Come on.. Meizu and Xiaomi is commonly selling phone with quite cheap price while Nokia doesn't.. Maybe Finland branding? Only 23rd Oct can answer that question hehe..

Here says the Nokia X7 (7.1 plus) 4/64 costs about USD 245 (only USD 15 price difference).
I, too, hate notches. I'm totally with you on that one. So it's a little frustrating for me personally the thought that if Meizu X8 were made with a slightly bigger size (perhaps, same dimension as Nokia 7.1 plus), then the battery could've been bigger and the notch could've been avoided. But you're right. Although the battery could've been bigger, it's not that small.

I just a normal user not photographer which color enthusiast.. I prefer stylish design and I'm the one that hate the big notch haha.. No offence.. It's just for my like.. 3200 mAh on this phone for me it's enough.. Not so big and not so small considering Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 EE is just 3000 mAh..
Btw are u sure that the Nokia X7 (7.1 Plus) is more expensive just a little? How about this link?

Taking into account all the dimensions, the Nokia 7.1 plus is only 6.7% bigger while having 9% more battery. And more battery is always preferred, especially for a screen this size. (I did the math. It's not an uninformed observation.) Plus the Meizu X8 is not exactly compact so slightly increasing the size to accomodate a bigger battery wouldn't have made any difference in phone handling. Price difference is very minimal for the advantages that you get, like I've previously mentioned, bigger battery, expandable memory, better cameras, and better screen.
The screen on the Nokia 7.1 plus has HDR10 support. It's not nonsense. It's rare to have that feature in midrange phones.
I would gladly buy a Nokia 7.1 plus if it were available in my region. Honestly, I would also buy a Meizu X8 if it's the one available in my region while the former is not. But right now, both are China exclusive. People in China are spoiled for choices when it comes to midrange phones with SD710 (Mi 8 SE included).

Bigger battery? Of course because 7.1 Plus is taller, wider, thicker than X8. Use smarter comment! Haha.. Dont forget that 7.1 Plus is more expensive..
Better screen? Better about what? Nonsense..
But remember no one to force u buying Meizu X8 instead of Nokia 7.1 Plus! That's your choice.

The Nokia 7.1 plus just straight up killed this with better screen, better cameras, expandable memory, and bigger battery among others. This does look sexier but that's just it. Sorry, Meizu.

There is no mention if it support NFC, which is necessary for phone payment.
I assume Meizu X8 does not support NFC. Do not buy if you want to use phone payment in China.

Sadly it is more expensive than the China version (I dont know why).. There's no info whether there're X8 and 16x global version yet..

I don't understand Meizu, why no band 20 for Europe!!! So great devices and no LTE support! So we can not buy it!!!!!!!
