DON't GO FOR THIS DEVICE.... BECAUSE IT IS "MICROMAX"
I have bought this device by 24th Aug 2012 from Mobile store and its get delivered by CUSTOMER SERVICE means, and why these big companies charge heavily... call it DEll, Apple or Sony, they have magnificient customer care services.
Since it gone dead i dropped it to nearby customer service office which is at Ghaziabad(near Old Bus Station), they were like real dumb asses who knows nothing. They format it and mean while deleted its IMEI numbers and updated me by 5th, i called the customer care regarding the matter and on one hand customer support guys are asking for new mother board or phone replacement, customer care executive is saying every day a new story, so at the end of 5 days, still they are struggling to find out the solution for this minor problem. Finally they asked me to wait for 7 days on wards.
If i talk to support guys they are saying that customer care guys can help us and send us either new mother board or new phone which soever is possible and told me to call customer care again and again and pressurize them, i am surprised that two divisions of same company works in such a pathetic ways.
I am myself a student from IMT Ghaziabad so i understand that their is a huge flaw in terms of services after sales in Micromax, as they didn't even provide proper tools and mechanisms to their teams before launching this product.
So i would like to rate this company and product in negative stars..
Please beware of buying this product.

Have this with me for the past few days..its a good looking phone and decent for the price tag..display is good, so is touch, sound is ok not loud..with a good headset music is really good..battery is good, dual sim is fine..trying to connect with a bluetooth headset but not finding the option....any one who got it done already plz help

I have shelved my galaxy samsung fr a change.. kindle app pdf readerOffer great reading experience..sound quality fine..don't know abt games. Android 4 . Battery life simply superb. crap phone dosent have flash player n will not support hd games but has 4.0 android ice cream sanwich but it dosent plays games such as temple run etc..

Friends its quite clear that Micromax A100 is purely a China Mobile after looking video on youtube by IGyan. I had a suspicion before that mmx might be delaying to provide stocks to create some hype in the market...But now it seems that the consignment from china is really not yet shipped coz slowly people are losing interest...I fear about the quality of the phone in the second round as with chinese brands its purely your luck that matters.

Only in Shaolic it s thr (Rs9699) and in Tradus (Rs10400). That too also they r taking 7 business working days for delivery. In Sulekha.com Rs9499 (Out of Stock). Chroma in Chennai before 2 days this product came out of stock. Check the both links.

Specifications are cool with that price tag, can any one tell me about the video cal clarity as it is reserved with vga front facing camera.

yeah it was really a budget mobile with one in all features just resembles a high class smart phone
