Danny, 17 Apr 2013Hey all canvas 2 users.....even i am one of the proud user ... moreHi I upgraded to Jelly Bean V3 1.11 using since 29-03-13 here are my answers for you.
1.The phone is getting overheated..
Nothing like that i watched 2 hours video using stereo blue tooth headset for audio. I use lot of browsing. Play temple run most of the times. Use Wifi 4 to 5 hours in day time. Listen tunein radio for 30-45 minutes everyday.
2.After the battery reaches 15%,it drops down automatically like 1% every 10seconds... within a minute or 2 it will get switched off...this problem won't occur when battery is above 15% except sometime..
I never checked this. Because i never allowed to go 30% below
3.I am not seeing any option in camera settings to store the photos to sd card....all the photos i click are getting saved in internal memory..n i really don't like to cut n paste them to sd card all the time..
All my photos are storing in Extenal SD card from day one. Go to setting and storage change preferred install location and Default write disk to External SD card
4.The MAJOR problem i faced is almost all the time ram will be full like more than 350 to 380mb...i don't know whether its natural...i uninstalled all apps n still i am getting the same problem... due to this many of the applications get closed as soon as i open them..even the home screen takes time to initialize..
Yes most of the times 80% RAM used even in idle. But no lags and no problem playing games like Temple run.
I am not a heavy game user.
4.There was a button in the earphones by pressing which we were able to change songs n answer calls in ICS..but in jelly bean i am not able to do that...
No, headset only work for receiving/rejecting calls and listening to music/radio in all versions.
I am using Bluetooth stereo head set most of the time for more features like play/pause,skip song etc.
5.Also durin the early days of my upgrade,the phone used to get automatically switched off n rebbot again..this was so irritating..now i am not facing this problem..
I never faced these problems in any versions of MMXA110 official ROMs

As per my experience, it is really very good phone.
It is reasonable with lot of functionalities.
I am using it since Nov 2012,and I didnt face any major issue yet.
The mobile case is awesome. It looks big, but i find it comfortable to handle and phone is more safe in it.
Now it also depends on how we handle or use it.
Will suggest do buy it.
We also have its next version Micromax A116 - HD. U can also go with it. Its ranging bet 15-17k in the market.

hello i have 9 phones of micromax canvas 2 and me and my frnds using this phone since nov 2012 and we hv not faced any issue and we even updated to jellybean and this phone is beating every phone in performance
so go for it .......check out flipkart . com original buyers comment (green certified buyer) u will come to know the truth.....
here some jealous ppl and other brand ppl make bad comments so check out flipkart comments....

Hey all canvas 2 users.....even i am one of the proud user of this phone...but after seeing all your comments about the touch screen problem after a month or 2 purchasing the phone,other negative comments etc are making me question myself that whether i must be proud of myself that i have this phablet... this is my 1st time writing here...I am writing here as i got some problems after upgrading my phone to jelly bean...plz HELP....

ps again : IF U HAVE SEVERE PROBLEMS WITH UR PHONE THEN SEARCH FOR REVIEWS HERE...STILL DIDN'T FIND SOLUTION?..BETTER THROW OFF .THE PHONE INSTEAD OF BRINGING IT TO CUSTOMER CARE............

Better u go for CONSUMER FORUM, take ur purchase receipt and packing box of your PHONE..... definitely they will solve ur problem

Everything gone smooth but I bought one week before my phone gone switch off automatically while serving net..music player, some application.
Service center is not working friendly...
Bad to buy micromax...choose other phone instead of micromax company...

i brought canvas 2 in feb13 abd i have replaced display, motherboard within 1 and half month and the service is also not good . in thois period the service station had ma mobile more than me...advice not to buy this phone.try another.good luck...
