Im not a canvas lover or Samsung hater.. Only on pure terms of technicality... Grand is not better than hd.. Only camera is good.. Thats it..

Hi friends.. please tell me what will be the best buy in the range of 15k to 16k in quad core mobile..priorities will be minimum 1GB RAM, 8 GB storage, Jelly Bean, >200 ppi screen and good service. I will be playing games and reading books. What about Canvas HD or Galaxy Grand Quattro or should I wait a few months? Thanks in anticipation of your guidance.

I had used canvas2 before this just for a month.. Canvas2 is a great phone coz it has an impossible battery backup.. Atleast for me.. Canvas hd is better than canvas2.. But not in terms of battery.. Canvas hd camera and canvas2 camera is same 8mp.. But canvas hd has a true 8mp camera.. People who r having camera issues must have failed to remove the plastic cover on a camera. I still have the cover inspite of that it is awesome.. Yes pictures with flash are dull.. But not disappointing.. Decent.
I personally like the sound quality of this phone Coz I have adjusted the effects, equalizer is set as per my need. People who dont know all that.. They complain..
I did not experience any lag issues with this phone..
Also im not using any battery booster app.. But still I have a decent battery backup.. It never drains unexpectedly..
I got this phone in 12k..my friend gave me after using it for a week.. So for me it is amazing
I have faced that network failure issue.. But rarely and im ok with that.. No complains.. Il try what u said.. Airplane mode thing.. And il let u know if that works for me..
Overall I like the combination of 8mp cam, hd display, nice battery backup, quad core, 1gb ram. I use Wifi 1mbps.. And I enjoy seamless videos.. It is awesome.. Recently I downloaded flash player and I watched serials on star player.. U wont believe.. Videos went on and on and on.. No stopping at all..
I think im lucky to get all this in 12k..
Ease help me the memory transfer thing.. 1.77gb is killing me.. It is less. Only that is the thing im not liking in this piece.. Hoping for any decent way to solve this issue.. I cant afford rooting this great combo specs piece.

Suvham, 29 May 2013It's been more than 25 days since i am using Micromax Canva... moreHi Suvham, thanks for ur instant feedback.... But to tell u, i dint misunderstand it. Here is the exact quote from flipkart review by Mr. Rajat Taheem:
"Phone has to be put into airplane mode & back to normal atleast once a day if you need continuity of calling/sms facility :) - For some reasons my phone goes to state where it shows online (connected to network) but do not send/receive calls/sms/internet - This is annoying to some extent"
If you want more, search google for "Micromax canvas hd network problems", and read all the related posts.. That will give u some idea of what i am asking....
Also,answer some questions:
1. Call clarity while calling/receiving.
2. Accelerometer works fine? (i read some issues)
3. GPS takes how much time to lock?
4. How much time does it take to charge battery from 5% to 100%?
5. Is the audio output from speaker so low?
6. How is the songs clarity in headphones with apps like poweramp? (i need this coz i will be moving from sony to mmx)
7. Does whatsapp work fine? (heard some issues)
8. How much will be the battery backup if i keep wahtsapp/facebook messenger on for the whole time?
9. Do u face horrible touch behaviour when connected to charging? (i have read this)
10. Have you rooted this phone?
I know these are too many questions but please try to answer them serially...I would be highly grateful.

You can disable the ''auto sync'' and ''background data'' options to get more battery life. Go to settings, select data usage then press the menu key, now untick ''auto sync' ' option and then select background data, tap on it and select ''Ok.'' These two options eats a lot of battery.

On average usage(Two hours of Web browsing, an hour of gaming, 3-6 calls for an hour, one hour of music playback via speakers, thirty minutes of video playing, an hour of chatting and the rest battery for standby). No issues with battery backup yet. I'm getting 7 hours and thirty minutes of battery backup on heavy usage, especially, gaming and 2G Internet. Never faced a lag. The guy who posted that review about this phone isn't facing any issues regarding network going off after 30 minutes, maybe you've misunderstood. Both my SIM cards are on most of the time, the network never disappeared or i lost data connectivity. Screen quality is top notch dude, color reproduction is very accurate and viewing angles are really nice. Touch screen is very responsive. Sound quality is average but after tweaking the settings, it's now loud and clear, still not good but not that bad either. I'm using Samsung earphones so no idea if that earphones will work or not.
