Bought HD on 14 the april, complete black front and back.
Available in poorvika .As i purchased on tamil new year they offered the phone for 14600 with free 8gb card and gold plated coin.
happy to see a black beauty.
camera is good, but there is exaggerated color reproduction in picture.
the picture also lacks depth.if you zoom it out the outline of the image is blurred.
Video is good.but, couldn't find a way to play the flv Using MX player.
butter smooth touchscreen.
GPS is working but bit slow.
Tired of all the application provides by MMX as it steals the memory.
Reception and sound quality is fine.
quick responsive navigation.
Over all it is sleek and shouldn't complaint & expect much for 14K bucks.
It really a slap on Samsungs dawning face

the worst phone i ever used in my life.
i buy micrmax HD on 4 th april.
12 th april the mobile switched off. i just enquired with store they tell we not responsible for that.
now from last 4 days its there in micromax care .
worst response from thyem.
shamefull micromax........

Micromax Canvas is the worst phone i have ever used in my life. My previous phones worked for more than 2 years, but micromax did not last even 2 months. I bought this phone thinking all companies manufacture their phones in china, it is just the brand name that makes a phone expensive, but i was wrong, this phone f**ked up from the very beginning. So many issues i think i can write down a list:
1. Camera display was showing pictures upside down. Might be some problem with the sensor.
2. Phone freezes every now and then.
3. Screen lights up 2 seconds late.
4. Poor battery back up
5. Lost all my contacts.
6. Lost all my applications.
The service is very poor, they dont care about the customer. Micromax is fooling people and the people who have no experience with this phone buy, keep praising it looking at its specs online.

While charging this phone's touch is behaved wrongly and application was open automatically. After complaining on MMX they replaced it but after getting new one problem is still persist in little amount. One another thing that notification board is opened although it is lock. Rest thing is working properly.

The battery drains out pretty fast.and while using the phone it heats up. Otherwise all good.

Hi Guy, i just got my Micromax HD A116 after booking 35 days , but after 10 days its Mother board dead, micromax service center guys say its not replaced it will be repaired , and take 1 week but after one week i does not receive any update from micromax service center, i suggest please do not buy this mobile poor quality and and poor service, waistage of time and money, my complaint no. is CN-1004137477, you can call and check the status

Such a fabulous phone I have ever seen . Everything s good in dis phone like battery back up games. Superb clarity for photos n videos. 3g s so fast in dis phone. N can watch videos from utube without lagging. Phone
Struc w good. Totally its toooooooo worthy . My heart full thanks to micromax for delivering such a nice phone. Really really nice. Micromax really provided its nothing like anything. I love my phone so so so so so much.
