this thread has become a war ground between mmx and sammy grand, i purchased a karbonn a9 when it was launched, was very much satisfied with its all over performance but after using it for nine months now it has voice clarity problem there is some sort of background sound while on voice call, but thats when i have booked a a116 so i think those who need shell life for there mobile and do not intend to upgrade it within a year should go for samsung, keeping in mind the changing technology every month i think mmx is the best option where it would not be hard to go for a upgrade when we will start seeing 8 core cpu and stuff next year, booked 116 on 16th feb with a delivery date of 15th march, hope to have a great time with mmx, sammy rip till you give few more good option in this price

has limited its service upto ICS 4.0,so no more plug in for jellybean.but don't worry it's HTML5 enabled(an alternative of flash player).

Hey..Samsung lover go ...To ua galaxy grand side....n defend ur reputation...Coz many samsung galaxy owners...r complaining dat...itz d worst fon n r facin many lags.....N now regratin for not buyin..micromax canvas hd....

AnonD-114668, 28 Feb 2013MMX HD is the best when compared to grand.i have done more ... moreactually grand has 4gb and a116 has 2.7gb(900mb internal and 1.8gb internal sd card) but now rooting is available for a116 so internal memory is not a big factor...and mmx has released a new update for a116 which solves flipboard problem and launcher crash related problems..it is already available on micromax ftp sites or u can visit service centers to upgrade ur a116 if u don't know about mmx ftp site(which is used by mmx peoples and many of us know the password of this site :p :p :p)

AnonD-108274, 28 Feb 2013Core doesn't matter but benchmark..grand blow out canvas hd... moregrand didn't blow out mmx a116 in benchmarks...actually the reverse is TRUE...on quadrant standard grand 3600 hd 3800 in antutu grand 6500 hd 13000 antutu is optimized for multicores that's why hd scores 13k ang grand 6.5k nenamark2 grand 58 hd 40...grand only manages score more than hd only in nenamark coz gramd has lower screen resolution and mmx 116 has hd screen resolution....even lava a500(cant remember the name properly) had 480x320 resolution and scored around 60fps in nenamark...so nenamark score difference is not big matter...but if u see the igyaan benchmark test of mmx 116 u can clearly see apps were started first on grand then on hd but hd always finished the app much earlier than grand which shows mmx a116 is faster than grand...by the way in quadrant benchmark test of grand shows gramd has a7 architecture not a9 architecture...

Those who dont want to buy this moblie or hate MMX then dont come here everytime and comment on it..
I have dont lots of research and finally decided to go for Micromax... Cause its offering the same thing like other onces with proper price..
Reasons Why Micromax is offering moblie with low cost
1. Its an Indian company.
2. Its new company (In terms of brand awareness)
3. To attract many buyers to them.
4. To overcome the competition.
5. Making huge profit with the statergy of (selling more volume with minimum profit margin)
