    I got my MMX Canvas HD A116 yesterday from Snap deal.
    Am v happy with the phone and also the build quality is good. Much improved compared to A110.
    The design is superb n v sleek.

      Swapy, 16 Feb 2013iPhone's are assembled in china not made....what sense does it make in assembling the i fone in china. all the fones are manufactured in china its just that you dont know about it coz every company draws a diferent picture in front of the consumer. pls gets your facts right the next time.

            NOW,There is not much difference between the benchmarks of S3 vs MMX116 CANVAS HD except AnTuTu benchmark. and remember, price of mmx116 is less than half of the s3,s price.
            2-3 years ago PEOPLE did not prefer samsung, people preferred to buy nokia, but today it is vice-versa. And it is the effect of MICROMAX that forced samsung to slash there prices.

              Thish phone has many problem...it is not better than canvas 2 performance. feacture is better than canvas 2...i think low budget under 10k canvas 2 is better.

BTW this is a lesson to everyb... moredon even say that samsung phones are reliable i feel grand has been launched in too much hurry as samsung is loosing their business so plz use grand and then recommend others to buy as even grand is coming up with too many problems

                            Bijay, 16 Feb 2013Why what problem The problem with this is that the screen touch response is pathetic, the touch screen on the lower left part of the screen does not register any touch, i.e. when i touch anything in that part of the screen, it doesn't respond.

                            Also, the phone is now randomly turning itself off, even with the battery currently at 70%, it did that 15 minutes ago, was watching a video, I'll see if it happens again.

                              I received a Sony handset sometime back with no mic.I hope we won't label Sony as a bad company only because of one this defective piece. In this way,it also can be on of those instance.
                              Irrespective of the fact that Micromax is good of bad ,the margin what Samsung ,Apple commands is too high and companies like Micromax ,Karbon are doing a humble act to get us a low cost item.So may be we should look at that perspective and give a encouragement to those.

                                      I think GSM arena should do a review with this phone...And am not gonna listen to the so called 'Hands on experiene' and 'Benchmarks' by the others, because some ppl who post here did not even saw the leaflet of this phone.
