I can see a lot of arguments among MMX ,Samsung and being Chinese. My dear friends please have a look at recent iphone or not too old Nokia phones which was once your best phones. All these are made or assembled in China. Dont think that China makes only low quality products. Just think about the quality of product you are getting for the money you give. Iam not a MMX fan but a truly fan of canvas A116.

Very powerful specs, MMX uses "Mediatek" processors which is the leading semiconductor company in Taiwan from where HTC belongs, we Indians do not give enough respect for our Indian brands, how good it might me !!!!!!!

Even most of mobiles batteries manufactured in CHINA.

vinu, 15 Feb 2013ya ya yaw yaw...no compass. even samsung has put compass in... morelolz.....mmx having quad core cpu has less benchmarks than grand....even graphics performance is less....Grand has 58.4fps in nenamark2 MMX HD only 44fps.....check igyaan bench's.....

Thank you for launching Micromax A116 HD with such a good price.Due to this samsung has started reducing the price of Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Samsung Galaxy Grand.
kindly try in Samsung galaxy note: discharge the full battery,then try to recharge. it will never take recharge the phone. This is samsung galaxy not quality???????????
