Well the biggest drawback of Micromax mobile is their after sales service!
My personal experience with them has been mixed bag! Example. I own a MMX A45 and the SIM tray got damaged accidentally and I went to their authorised service center in Bangalore, Ovez Tech, and I was told that it would cost me 2700/- Rs as they had to change the mother board itself!! I got it fixed else where for 350/- Rs only!! Their attitude is callous and really pathetic!
I had Canvas A100 and the mobile was pretty decent performer except for the camera quality. So the challenge for the buyers of MMX mobiles would be Service!!

Micromax specs posted by Snapdeal say no Java, but on other sites Emulator is mentioned. Is Java inbult Y/N? And does it allow to download android apps from all sites?

I just ordered one today.i was so happy seeing the specs of a110.so i didnt wait for the review.
does any1 knows about the screen and battery life?

I have seen u people getting confused between MMxA116 & UmiX2. So here is lil bit effort from me which will make u to think twice b4 shedding ur money on this A116:-->
Well, guys it’s difficult to say anything as more smartphones to come late this year with even better specs. I am totally convinced with Umi X2 (Chinese mobile - just like MMx). No doubt it shows off some classy features in an amazingly low price. It’s better than Canvas HD but the question is after sales service. I do not see any reason to buy it as they may fail to provide enough service if their handsets are found defected. It can happen to any electronic gadget. From that point of view I can say Canvas HD is better choice. In future if Micromax, Spice, Karbonn or Lava can provide service to Umi smartphones it becomes easier to trust the brand. I am not sure how Umi is planning their business in India. One more option I can think about right now is replacement warranty till 30-60 days instead of providing service. Once their ship starts rolling they can increase the number of service centers.For specs just google "UmiX2 mobile". Its far better than A116 in each & every respect.
I know that now many strong comments in d favor of MMx will come now. Never forget that they r not MMx users, they r marketing touts of MMx who can't listen/see any criticism here. Never mind them :-p Apply ur own brains.Thats all for today. Cheers :)

Micromax Canvas HD is china's beidou chi! If u don't trust, have a look at the beidou chi phone in the below link.

Just dont buy it, with a feeling that it is indian phone, it is just china's rebranded phone.
