I have purchased this cell phone(A116 hd) couple of months back. It was working fine in India. But, Now I moved to USA and it becomes useless for me. This mobile does not support with any SIM in USA.
So If someone is planning to go abroad for any reason just not go with this local micromax company who does not have any global standard for any product.
like Samsung, Apple and Nokia,
customer care support is really poor too.

After Updating from
(OLD):-- S9201_4.2_MP_F3F8_B1_IN_MMX_13_FLASHER_USER
TO
(NEW):-- S9201_4.2_MP_F3F8_B1_IN_MMX_14_FLASHER_USER
Battery Takes 4 hours to fully charge I charged My mobile from 12:00am in night to 04:00am
I used Full Battery & Theft Alarm_4.7.9
(Latest version available on google paly) which alert me on full charging by a ringtone.
Plz friends Who are using this new (firmware S9201_4.2_MP_F3F8_B1_IN_MMX_14_FLASHER_USER)
how many hours u take to charge mobile fully
&
Still Battery heavy dropping problem not solved My Battery drop from 50% to 17% in old firmware & even in new firmware.

Worst phone..lot of technical problems..gets hanged frequently when attendin an incoming call..front cam doesn work while video calling..very bad in audio features..went to customer care,,found more ppl than found in showroom..MICROMAX is a brand which gives LOW QUALITY products..waste of hard earned money.

Its very nice phone with 294ppi density.it provides HD quality. I brought this phone 2013 march there is no problem yet.this phone is value for money. camera quality is awesome with 720p 30fps rec.the phone is very fast I have almost 80 apps there is no hanging. over all it is superbbb phone

Hey plssplss plss help me...when i start video it already zoomed...i try a lot but not able solve it...that happn in video only in taking pics its normal n fine but in video in video its zomed..

good morning...
i bought this cell last month.and after one month its not shown network in both sim slot.i gave cell in service center on 21-12-2013...and i had visited 5 times but they did not repair yet...and employes response like unprofesnal...macromax have good pruduct no issue....but service center is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worst...so plz friend before by micromax think about the servcie 100 times.....!!! ........only issue of servcie center not more..!!

I bought a Micromax Canvas A116i today.
On the Model number,in the about phone in the system settings options,it is written as Micromax A116 and not as A116i.
Is this normal? Or have I been fooled by the seller?
Pls reply..
