AnonD-104091, 22 Jan 2013hello all... Even if the name is 'Canvas HD' BUT its doesn... moredude a116 have a quadcore processor which is twice as powerful as optimus l9 processor and also company havent provided full specification of handset, and only after that we can say that it is hd or not :)

Who told you that this device have PowerVR SGX531 ???
check Wikipedia first
it have PowerVR Series5XT which is better than SGX545
it is 5XT series 40 nm chipset
and check you tube for its benchmark.

Even if the name is 'Canvas HD' BUT its doesn't PLAY Or Capture the FULL HD VIDEO. HUGE DISLIKE for this.
What you all friends Say About 'LG L9' same +feature with full HD with price 18000. ?

It is better than s3 in terms f price and mainly gpu i.e graphic processing unit. Its PowerVR SGX531 gpu is better than s3's Mali-400

I don't why everyone is raving about this A116 for the price of about USD280 with only 4GB internal storage. You can get the Google Nexus 4 for USD300 and 8GB of internal storage. So guys correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

sagar, 22 Jan 2013guys am confused b/w canvas hd and xolo x900 the benchmark ... moreYes Xolo has NFC, rumors say that the canvas HD too has NFC, that would have to be seen when it releases.
Xolo has corning glass. but Canvas HD has tuffened glass, not corning.
The resolution of XOLO is much higher than Canvas HD, wheras the canvas HD PPI (pixel per inch) is much a little bit more thatn XOLO. also the display for Canvas HD is much bigger, its a IPS qHD display, which would be much bigger and brighter and better viewing angles than the XOLO. although in the market they cost almost the same. Also some games are not compatible with the XOLO. in other areas the XOLO is better than micromax. One thing about the Quad core used in the Canvas HD is one core is dedicated to save battery power. think about what I have put here and make a wise decision.
