Micromax provides flexibilty to corporate as well as daily customers to use a single phone for company as well as family/friends etc personal use, calling functions(one sim) as well as data function(on second sim). Don't go by the book which you refer. Go by the statistics which grows business. India has got a huge market for middle and lower middle class Dual SIM cell phone users. Thumbs up to Micromax A116 to become most popular phone on GSMArena than A110.
Only problem in this phone still persisted is that they haven't provided COMPASS (Magnetic Field Sensor) in this phone also like in A110 Canvas 2. Hopefully they would introduce it in final model (yet no hopes! 4.2 upgradibility is more than enough)

This Year there will be only 2 phone will rule Indian mid range market Micromax A 116 Canvas HD & Nokia Lumia 620. As per latest smartphone shipment for last 3 month in India Micromax already number 1 followed by Samsung in number 2.

Micromax until now has good sales in market.... But its going to be perfect oly if it changes from dual sim to single one...which make it a perfect brand.... Because many people have the mind set that dual sim is a Korean or a China make....and I like the way in which micromax make is trying to increase its sale by keepin the price low.... But oly normal people wil get impressed with this tricks.... Specs may be awesome.... But there wil be little feature missing and flaws which normal consumer's can't find.... And because its got the quad core processor it can't be compared to s3 or note2 or any of the Sony's.... As a techno critic I wil surely buy this one to make reviews.... And its good in its section.... Good work....!

But the fact is that Micromax is tied up with the companies like qualcom,mediatek and some good developer companies. Another thing that canvas 2 is not a cheap chinese product, it is a great device. I have been using this for 3 months with super performance. According to business report, q mobile and myphone have very good local market in pakistan and phillipines,so Micromax is tied up with them because canvas 2 came earlier in the market than q mobile and myphone.the best thing is that canvas 2 was the best smartphone in 2012 in indian market according to the experts.and Micromax is the assembler like other brandd. Love u canvas .....

Mediatek MT6589 is a very powerful CPU, it is also THE most power efficient and coolest Quad core processor on the market today. I'm very satisfied with the specs of the phone considering it's price point. gonna get one as soon as it's launch.. cheers Micromax.. keep up the good work!! :D
