There is a solution for increasing incoming call volume for this phone. I myself was facing call and music volume issue. I managed to solve it by below steps.
Below are the steps to do it (Do it on ur own risk).
1. Download MTK engineer mode application from google playstore
2. Open MTK engineer mode app. Scroll right till u get "hardware testing" --> Audio
3. Open "Normal mode". Set Max Vol 0~160 = 160
- From "type" select sph and configure below values for levels
level 0=100
level 1=110
level 2=120
level 3=130
level 4=140
level 5=150
level 6=158
- Again, from "type" select "sph2" and configure below values for levels
level 0=100
level 1=110
level 2=120
level 3=130
level 4=140
level 5=150
level 6=158
Again, from "type" select "Mic" and configure below values for levels
level 0=255
level 1=255
level 2=255
level 3=255
level 4=255
level 5=255
level 6=255
4. Hit back--> go to "headset mode" and repeat the exact same steps as mentioned above for this mode as well
5. hit back--> go to "Loudspeaker mode" and repeat the exact same steps as mentioned above for this mode as well.
6. Exit the engineering mode app.
7. Go to call button and press the options button. You will see a popup to go in call settings menu
8. Go in call settings --> other settings. Uncheck "noise reduction"
9. exit everything and reboot the phone.
After reboot, u will feel the difference in call volume, quality and notice that music fluctuation is gone

Take me as a friend i bought this phone this phone in last November first of all its camera is very nice 12mp but during night may be 20mp front cam is top 2 mp then its ram very super even FIFA 14 works smoothly but phone storage and internal storage is not much. Then it helps me very much in taking bice videos .its scrreen resolution is also very nice its speed is 1.5Ghz superb 41mbps and 11mbps download rate n upload rate but gin india 3G macimum is 21 mbps aand 5.6 mbps then we can come to its software updates upto this 11months no new updates
but u can root it ! Then those who have problem with touchscreen use thump to touch it works well .then it browser is very bad but u can download uc or puffin browsers
U can use pendrive mouse keyboard by buying a otg cable it only worths a. 50 rupees

excellent phone no problems with the device, i am using this phone since 10months, only one issue is that the mp3 sound keep on increasing & decreasing automatically, but if u plug in earphones this issue is also solved, excellent camera quality. Excellent touch, phone never hangs.....

Sound fluctuations in micromax maguns its very irritation to listening songs....so give me the solutions to avoid this problem .

I have purchased this mobile before 2months then its has touch screen problem......i go to the service centre and asked the problem.... He said its touch problem so send to this mobile to mmx company then within 10days it will return to ur hand so still 30 days it not come....... So worst mmx service centre ever i seen .........

This is worst phone i had ever purchased. Just in one week i got touch screen problems. My money is wasted. It costs much. And kept my whole earnings on this waste piece. I have lost piece of mind.

Hi,
Micromax Canvas Mangnus is the most troublesome phone i have ever purchased. I have dumped my hard earned money on this poor performance phone, since the date i have brought its showing only problems..
its touch is not working,
its sensor has already changed twice.
I gave it in the service centre atleast 5 times but they are showing helplessness ,not replacing or rectifying my problem....phone is not working till now and i have to purchase the another one...
i should say its a pathetic piece and company is making fool the customers selling this cheap pathetic product no one should buy any product of micromax....

Hi,
For those who have reported problems with home keys eratically working or not working at all, please note that it is a common touch screen problem with this A117 model. The only permanent solution is to replace the Touch screen. A cost effective way is to install software home keys for phones out of warranty.

Hello Every one i am using this phone before 5 Month. After 5 month my phone touch is not working . then i went to service center and they will told me that i will give your mobile after 7 day's . And he give my mobile after 15 days and i used my mobile after repair and after 5 days now i am facing same problem my mobile screen touch not working .
I suggest all of if you love your money so please never buy any micromax product. it's a Cheap Crap nothing else.. AND also many people are there who are coming from last 3 month every . but they have one answer coming after 7 day's . so please don't Buy any micromax mobile. it'service's is worst .........
