          After a success of Canvas 1, 2, and 3 aka HD.. MMX thinks it's Samsung by pricing it high. Lmao. I'll never buy a MMX phone which costs over 15k.

Samsung Galaxy S4 has corning gorilla glass 3 whereas Micromax Canvas has corning gorilla glass one. The display on S4 is 5" full HD Amoled and Canvas 4 it is 5" IPS 720p(Same as Canvas HD) so you know that colours will be washed out. Sound of Canvas 4 is same as Canvas HD, that's below average. In call sound is also bad. Full HD videos can be recorded in 3gp, same as Canvas HD. There's just an led flash, which is same in Canvas HD, picture quality gets screwed and no noise reduction technolgy. Same MediaTek processor and DDR 2 RAM as in Canvas HD. Same battery as canvas HD. Will you seriously use blow to unlock? No. Smart pause doesn't work properly. Micromax has improved in terms of software and minor change in hardware. You can't compare it with Galaxy S4 as it has far much superior processor, RAM, display, display protection, good speakers, better camera, better battery, from a brand, good after sales and service. Micromax still has to improve a lot.

I had a Canvas HD which stopped powering on after a fall and right now it is in the service center. Go to settings>About Phone> Tab three times quickly on 4.x.x>Tap and hold the red stone.

                  Had booked the phone on the 10th of july via micromax website as a birthday present for my wife on 25ht July.. Was anxious about its delivery kept calling their number. The thing here is that it takes a LONG time for them to answer your call, but when they do they are pretty helpful. I cam to know that they would start shipping only by monday, i.e today which was cutting too close for me.

                  So i told them about my problem and asked them if i could collect it in person. They obliged, gave me the address of the warehouse in gurgaon from where it was being dispatched. I took the necessary documents and at the warehouse got the phone in 2 minutes.

                  Now everytimne I called i had to wait 7 - 10 minutes, but everytime they did answer were polite and at the end of the day solved my issue. So please be patient with them(they seem to be flooded with calls; appears from the background noise)

                  Now about the phone:

                  It's raining and we are in the car and i take a snap from behind the windsheild, awesome pic. Knowing delhi, it's roads and it's roads in rains, to say the road was not smooth should not be necessary.

                  The camera did not take time to come in focus and took a good clear snap without any blurring. the video recording too did not have any blurring or discrete jerks when i moved it around..

                  The display is good and the touch very responsive, infact i find it much better than the galaxy grand which is in the same price range.

                  Same gos with the speed of the phone.. the speed was good, shifting between apps and menus was wothout any lags, although am not sure how it will perform when it is bombarded with many apps...

                  Have not used it enough to comment on things like battery life , ear phones etc. as it is a gift and i just did a minimal testing to see if everything was working fine.

                  For 18k, I would not think twice, and come to think of it.. I haven't either..

                        dear all,kindly mind it MM customer care is very bad no one asn your qus.AND MAINLY BATTERY LIFE VERY LOW.I HAD MANY EXPERIENCE from MM now i say to all my friends to avoid MM.

                          I prebooked Canvas 4 and Paid the remaining amount on 11-Jul. But haven't got any updates about the delivery of the handset.Even after numerous follow ups no mails from Micromax E store. if you try the Contact number then you only get to hear music and music and music. I feel ashamed that it's an Indian brand. Amazingly bad customer care or after sales service.Getting the feeling as if somebody is running away with the money and with emotions too.

                                    Anonymous, 21 Jul 2013Hello friends, please don't get excited by specifications o... moreI have a canvas hd and canvas 2 and canvas 4 is in transit...i have dropped canvas hd from my upper pocket it just had a scratch...i dnt say that its build quality matches that of lumia with polycarbonate but its good for what you pay..and when i have purchased nokia e63 for 15k then prices dropped to 8k in a span of 1.5 yearso i had to sale it at around 5k...which i dont consider a big resale price...and mind you e63 used to be one of the top selling phones of nokia...same goes for samusung...i have tab plus which i bought for 24 k plus cover and bluetooth..and now i cnt even sale it for 10k..so i loose around 15k and if i thow away my canvas hd next year i loose 13k so whats the issue...and let me point tht my canvas performs bit faster thn my exynos powered tab...
