The point I would like to mention here is why should anyone fork out Rs. 40000 when a product with same specs is available for just Rs. 20000.(Here S4 and Canvass 4) Samsung is a multinational company and its products are highly priced. If their manufacturing cost is Rs.20000 they sell it for Rs.40000.Look, in the case of S3,it was selling at approx.38000 at its launch, now available for as low as Rs.25000.When they can slash Rs. 13000 in 8-10 months for a product with same specs, you can imagine, how highly they are priced. MMX Phones are not bad in any way(I have been using canvass 3 for a month and functioning well)I found many samsung phones (6802,7562 etc)having hanging problems,rough scrolling through contacts list etc. Therefore, pl. be realistic and unbiased. Thanks

Hello friends, please don't get excited by specifications of Micromax, Karbonn, Lava, MAXX, Intex, iBerry, UMI, Zopo, Huawei, ZTE, Gionee and other low brands phones. Trust me, the hardwares of these phones are of worst quality, beauty from outside is just an illusion to lure you by these brands. That is the reason they sell high specs phones at such low prices and some sell at high prices just because the brand has got a little popularity. Look, Nokia Lumia 520, it has very low specifications and selling at 10,000 Rs., the price is reasonable in my opinon as the manufacturing cost of this phone is 9.5k because it has superior quality hardwares which can't be matched by any other cheap brands or even big names in the mobile industry. So, i suggest you all to save your money and buy a Nokia 808 Pureview or better phones by Nokia. It will be worth every penny you put in and you get good resale value of Nokia phones. Next is your decision. Just like you, i got excited by Micromax Canvas HD and i purchased it without a second thought which stopped powering off after a fall from a table of 7 ft. and is right now in the service centre for three months. I have a Nokia 2310(my first phone which i bought in 2007), despite it has fallen a hundred times from 6 to 10 ft and 20 times in water, it is still working without any isssues. So, put your money into something which is durable and feels good in hands. I, now, have a Nokia 808 which costs 16000 Rs and takes breathtaking images with it's superb camera, a perfect multimedia phone.

I m looking forward to buying a phone in a price range of Rs.15000-Rs.18000...plz suggest some phones...and also tell if micromax canvas 4 is really an option to go for...

Try listing down another phone with a 13mp rear camera nd a 5mp front facing camera with a quad core processor for 15 grand!! its a great buy and isn't expensive!! this phone is well worth it's price.

Indian is Indian wether it is MMX, Karbonn, Spice, Celkon, Maxx etc..they're stepping in for big step & need little time to improve themselves overall.. They're bad at front but once their product start hitting top they'll take care of other issues as well.

Most of the positive points mentioned r jst. after purchasing the product instantly or may be after 3-6 months use. The real pic. comes only after 12 months or more usage. MMX, Karbonn, Spice, Celkon, the endless hopeless list. Be Indian, Buy Indian that's only our customer duty? What abt. then from their side. One wud never find after Sales Service Centre of the above mentioned stuff. Just go for Nokia (Windows)or Samsung or Sony or Htc standard brands accepted n successful all around the Universe. MMX has created lot of hype esp. among School/College guys/girls as obviously its very difficult for them to spend from their pocket, but still sincerely recommend don't simply go by Big Screen allurement/greed. Go for std. co. cell.
