Micromax mobile time is to be over like Nokia so if you want to use good mobile then use other product and forget micromax

No support for band 38,39,41 nearly all mobile have.Battery issues and heating. Octa core helio is like hexa core snapdragon, becomes slower when phone gets hot. Lollipop hanging issues. No video call support built in. Signal reception issues while calling. Data disconnect when sim 2 in call. No marshmallow update. Do not waste your buck for this.

This phone has lots of problems, screen gets Black & White all of sudden and need to restart, Bluetooth hangs, if I connect my phone with Bluetooth speaker within a minute Bluetooth hangs and restart automatically. Wifi restart very frequently, can't use share it. Waste of money.

As per there it was mentioned marshmallow has volte implementation with it so it was able to support using the IMS trick from MTK eng mode. I suppose in lollipop it is not possible as modem do not support.

I have checked canvas 6 and can tell you pro is much better, higher clock speed 2.0ghz compared to 1.3 ghz in canvas 6, less heating due to plastic body, 4gb ram, removable battery, separate microsd and sim slots, gorilla glass 3. Canvas 6 only has added fingerprint scanner which is far worse than redmi note 3 one and the VoLTE support. Disappointed that a high end soc of mediatek do not support volte where qualcomm 2013 socs has the support. Also micromax do never provide OS update and both are still in 5.1.

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2017As mentioned volte is only available for canvas 6 not canva... moreSame for lenovo k3 note. Modem used by mt6752 is same as mt6795 which is lte cat 4 released in 2014. Once helio x10 will receive global version k3 note will also follow the line. Current issue is that mediatek 2015 modems support lte cat 6 which supports volte natively while this will require a bit workaround with IP emulation. Chinese versions has received the update.

antaryami, 09 Feb 2017No volte available after update. Only the launcher is changedAs mentioned volte is only available for canvas 6 not canvas 6 pro. There is a chinese developer rom supporting it but not a global version that too for Le Eco 1s which uses same SoC. You can try flashing this one on the phone, but I am not taking any responsibility if the phone gets bricked in this process. Wait a few months when Mediatek release a global version then, they all have got numerous complaints from helio x10 users for implementing VoLTE for band 3,5 and 40 which is india compatible.

Unfortunately no VoLTE in the pro version. E485 has world phone compatible chipset hence update released. Unsure if the pro will get any in future.

Confirmed that canvas 6 has volte since it is mt6753 pro is still in wait list being mt6795. Micromax needs to provide it. Also enable band 39, 41 and 20 these are required for upcoming operators.

Mohan Dixit, 30 Jan 2017Does it supports jio 4g network and jio video calling 4g network of Jio, airtel, vodafone, reliance are supported. Video call or VoLTE is not, if you are using jio install jio 4g voice app for calls and video. Calls will cost data though.
