Whats the meaning of 4X lossless Zoom. to Get Lossless you need minimum of 5MP.. so at 4X the the megapixel is below 5MP.
50 / 4 = 12.5 (2X zoom) , 12.5 / 4 => 3.125MP (4X zoom)

wow. Lumia 1020 quality was on par with modern mid range DSLR or older high end dslr. lumia 1020 was 3x lossless zoom.
now 1030 got bigger sensor and 4x lossless zoom. i think the quality now can match high end dslr!
with the Superb video recording and Rich Recording features.
this is an Multimedia Beast!

50 mp camera is pointless because the human eye cannot see more than 7 mp. Ok if your planning on printing out large poster size images. Whoes doe that from a mobile anyway. And if your serious about photography you don't use a mobile. Don't get me wrong some great pics have been taken on mobiles.

actually you guys don't relies that xenon flash would have actually make the phone thicker, and besides photography is all about light, hence the sensor is bigger than 1020, photographers rarely use flash as it is too harsh and flash can be too harsh.....
