Let's hope the 1030 has stable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hardware and is not a complete failure like its predecessor's. I'm experiencing constant reboots when using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and according to various sources it is caused by a faulty mainboard.

If this phone were to release, it would have a big impact on all other competitors. All depends on when this phone will actually be released:since the third quarter of 2015 is already gone. I don't think Microsoft would want to delay the product and loose faith in the anticipating people. Also it's functioning would be hugely dealt in the market since all windows 8 versions have problems when the free internal memory drops below 800Kb. I hope Microsoft would give their earliest consideration to the matter, if they are to break through to the top ranks if the market.

if it does not have an sd it wont sell much just like the 1020. 41 mp or 50 mp but only 25 gb to use at a time is garbage, 25 gb is barely to not enough just for a camera if you use it as phone to bring files and have music u need at least 64 gb and if the battery is gonna be dead after 3 hrs of camera use a removable battery will be a must!

Would come 1030 like 1050dualXL with microsoft payments, surface pen support, ease google+youtube sharing(+live) support, it would be the best device considering big number of android users and that there is no competitor 5years in samsung's flagship-with-a-pen device. Samsung devices can also do fast and stable hi-res panoramas, spherical shots and so on, and if you get more of what you want, price matters less.

Why not USB 3.0 /
Why not Bluetooth 4.2 ?
Why not a Xenon flash for pictures, and led for film?
Why not a HDMI output ?
Why not a 10x optical zoom, as minimum ?
Why not a really good phone ??

Promises! I own a 1020, I will change to 1030, but if you continue to lie about this new one with windows 10 and Cortana... I won't! We are tired of waiting more than a year!!! Om 2016 I will get Sony watter proof, taking pictures under water and talking my what's app messages instead of writing, will kill the amazing 50 pixels zeis camera!
I'm sad, and tired of believing in Microsoft promises, and my friends jokes about my phone is old and with troubles in waze, sky alert, for example, and just a few apps. The new cameras with new software are being almost equal than mine!!!! Sad!!!!!

AnonD-218153, 20 Sep 2015please put in there FM TransmitterWish they would put fm transmitter in like the last of the n series phones. Saves wires and ports. Plus is the Nokia 1030 Nokia?? Or they all Microsoft phones now I know the 1020 still fires up with Nokia and Nokia on the front

It has a 50MP camera! That is amazing.
I hope it will be released soon. Good thing that Windows Mobile 10 will have both Android and iOS support.
