I hv used 430 & 535 and m proud to say 540 is the best I hv used so far.. For a microsoft fan, ts got all I need except for a few but its cool. Kip it up#developers

If you are outside US region and willing to use cortana then u shud get Cortana by following few steps 1. Reset your phone. 2. At the beginning keep regiom and language both US(to confirm time and date use wifi) 3. Cortana will itself ask whether you want to activate it or not. If yes and press "Allow" 4. It will as 5-10 personal questions about yourself, so answer them. 5. It will ask for your name. Pronounce it correctly. 6. Cortana will appear on your start menu itself...

Lumia 540 is designed as a Lumia denim phone. So basically the system is unique. So its better to keep it as windows 8.1. I bought this phone in july 2015. Thats more than two years. I dnt remember how many times it fell from my hand and stuff but still using it like it was the first weekni bought it. Its still new shining and as fast as it was. Overall, its an awesome device within lowprice..

My win 8.1 was okay but after upgrading to win 10, my phone takes longer period to charge and the battery does not last at all...
How do I reverse it to win 8.1?

This phone WAS perfect until i upgrade to WIN10... First didnt upgrade corectly, after hard reset aplications work much slower than on 8.1 (camera become horible, facebook mesenger soo slow and bugy) all togeher FANTASTIC phone but ruined by win10 (maybe im wrong maybe im tool and dont know how to work it or /and update it)

lumia 540 is awesome phone after updating to windows 10 its camera is fabulous default browser edge is very fast the best part of denim is it does not hang. Its design good it is an awesome device over all.
