Camera quality is very bad in night mode ,deem light ,
Camera is likely good in day ,and video quality is hi-fi.

        Lumia 640 is a great phone.It has a great camera with a great battery backup.
        This phone is going to update with windows 10 soon.perhaps on 12jan 16.

              I have 640xl. Its good. Facing problem when you have to reply mail with attachment. Only photo attachment possible. Very much upset for official use.

                  Hi I m using Lumia 640 dual sim..i m k wit it but when I connect the phone to any system and copy something my phone hangs a lot... I m facing this hanging issue a lot wen connecting to system...please provide wit a solution...!!!thank u all

Generally, they are waiting and waiting till people get accustomed with their product's. They don't attack with advertisement, they hardly ever did it. I am sure win 10 will gain traction. Slow, but sure.

                        Previously I was an Android user until my phone went dead. Now, I've been using this phone - MS Lumia 640 Dual SIM for about 3 months now. It's a working horse. A reliable one I might say. It didn't crash or self-rebooting like Android-(insert-brand-here) phones. It didn't gets hot when using the camera. I have not face any hardware or OS level issues with this phone. The Windows OS is stable, reliable and gets the job done. For it's price, it fares well. Pictures taken with it is average quality (sufficient enough for social media). Sounds is just OK. It has expandable external storage MicroSD (which is good). Connectivity is good and reliable. The only drawback of this phone is it is a BORING DULL phone due to major lack of apps in the marketplace. Even basic apps such as Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Waze are not up to date compared to the Android version. I ditched the Facebook apps and rather use the mobile web version of it. Buy this phone if you're looking for a reliable, no fuss work horse. But, at the end of the day you'll be bored to death due to lack of quaity 3rd party apps. My next phone will definitely be an Android phone.

Why do they keep ... moreAs i've said it on my other post, i also believed that they want to sell the new devices and that is why they will not release the OS before next mounth or maybe even later. I also posted a coment about my conspiracies. But to tell you the truth, i now understand the postpone. So, don't be angry at them cause makes no sense, is better for you believe me. Tge system is not ready. I own now an 950 xl. The 640 with 8.1 sometimes browses faster (sometimes) it's battery is crazy good in front of my xl also. Store opens faster and is more stable, photo gallery, the same. Considering this and the hardware xl has, i think yoi'll want to wait. If ms releases this build on all devices you will be all dissapointed. Cause is not yet ready and still buggy. It is, tough, almost there... But only almost.... So hold on people, if you don't want to, then just install the preview version, is very stable but, as i was saing, slow and with some buggs in front of the 8.1.

I mean, who the hack cares if you use your device or not? Is not like you are buying from store everyday 3 times a day. And is also not like using facebook, whatsapp or other social crapp will help Ms gain money. I understand the frustration but please people believe me, it is not ready!. I own right now and use a lumia 950xl, believe me, the system is not ready for the mass.even with drivers and firmware for the windows 10, this phone is not how it should be. Minding the fact it has so much power under the hood, battery life is not good enough and speed is not good enough. I compared it to 640 (i bought my mother one) which, to tell you the truth, happened to sometime open webpages faster thrn my 950xl. It's battery is 2 times better, even tough is only 2500mA in front of thr beefy 3380mA of my xl. I also tought Ms is post poning cause they want to sell this devices....is not true. The system is just not ready. Keep in mind, when it will eventually be released you should do a hard reset with no restore before installing the update, believe me, is better.

And we the customers have the most to lose. Look at Samsung, they have put a patent to the Snapdragon 820 until middle 2016. So, no other company can release a smartphone with snapdragon 820 in this period, only Samsung.. Big fail. The same with Microsoft in the releasing of Windows 10 mobile for other devices except Lumia's 950, 950XL and 550.

                                      i think you dont know how to use windows phone, android is like bicycle u can take any where, it is easy to use blah blah blah.... but windows is like bike, its is bit diffcult when u use first time, but it gives you the best experience when u start to use it, i have 'Iphone4', galaxy Note 3, S6, Moto x, Sony X peria Z, ... but none of the phone is cool and good as windows... so better dont give false information unless u know it better.....
