Bro restart thing was never a problem like thing.....it was more like forced update thing adopted by microsoft to make their customer to update their phone and it was present in every lumia 640...i bought 3 L640 so better know about it...just after you will unbox the phone and connect to wifi you will get 2 update just then..1st is 1 mb update and 2nd is like 450 mb update...install 1st 1 mb update and thats it...you won't get any restart....and moreover restart thing was not that intense...i got just 1 restart in 1.5 day that also when phone was in standby.... not while using

Raj, 01 Nov 2015dude u must tried CC Player for watching video ,it's awesom... moreDear Raj I have tried cc player and no doubt it is a good player but not best.It become slow if u have lot of video files.and some special formats are not supported in it.
The bests in windows phone are.
1-Moli player
2-New updated VLC player

Can anyone tell me whether the sudden restart problem has been fixed or not?
I want to buy lumia 640.
But this issue seemed to be a deal breaker for me.

My uc downloads are not updated in music and video player sometime and sometime video player also do not work.
Plz help me to fix the problem

Sometimes double tap doesn't work consistently and we have to double tap 3 or 4 times to unlock...anyone noticed this???

You will get very good experience of watching movie on Lumia 640.
I personally use Core music player for listening music.U can also try it.

After 5 month using Lumia 640 XL today I bought Lumia 640 for my Dad.I didn't find anything wrong in this Lumia series a perfect smartphone.

Battery charging time is long. Otherwise excellent phone. No doubt. W10 is far batter than our expectations. Believe me.

Spec wise Lumia 640 XL is superior If you have no problem with Windows then go for Lumia 640 XL it's a great value for money product.You simply love Lumia 640 XL.Believe me Lumia 640 XL is best phone under 15K.Display is fantastic,descent Camera,excellent Network Connectivity,almost all apps will directly install to sd card such feature not found in Android phone,NFC,Here map,offline navigation,Great Battery backup,great viewing angle,and great buid quality.I mean to say in each and every section Lumia 640 XL perform brilliantly.And above all Windows is highly Optimized OS.

Hi, it's awesome phone, but only a few things iritate me. For example, when I go to Dialer to enter number, there is no suggestion list of my contacts (don't recognize numbers from my contact list/people) or just I can't find options to turn on that option. Is there any solution for that issue? Thx

How to connect the mobile to a computer? i tried once, but the mobile was displayed under camera and scanner section. also the windows explorer or file explorer were not showing the mobile or it's phone or card memory. is there problem with the computer software version or i have to do some big software update of the mobile? within 15 days of my usage i have done 2 small (5-10mbs) mobile software updates.
