pls users , dont bluff customers that win 10 is running smotthly in lumia 640. see microsoft edge crashes often, and u wont get battery only 70% of previos version. i m using from one year... i updated win 10, 2 times and came back to 8.1. dont ever be fools by telling win 10 is good

I have it almost a year and never had serious issues (needed restart once in a few months). Works fast. All I can say - great!

Guys..again spoiled my mobile by Win 10 second time....see lots f bugs....charging takes 4 hrs...and drains n 3 hrs..... And hangs a bit n lock screen and some apps like camera sight doesnt work prperly whch i notice...i dont know why they have given battery saver mode.... Guys who r all supoortinhg win 10 update..i thnk u guys r using lumia as alternate phone... U cant go out by keeping trust n battery

I updated to win 10 but again its showing some 729mb..if I update wil my mobile charge faslty and battery wil be solved or not?

Guys by using win 10 is there any issue with Microsoft edge typing ? And camera sight 360 is spoiled totally.. Again I rolled back to win 8.1 from service centre before 2 months .Any body facing this issue now ?

For your kind information, there were 700000 apps in september 2015. Everyday ios developers are adding own applications through project islandwood (if you know a little bit about it). Instagram app is there with much more improved ui. New shareit, facebook, messenger universal app is there if you need. The thing needed is update some of your knowledge and update your phone. It is better to use ios apps than that of android which is malware content. So Microsoft closed project astoria( to port android apps to windows). Ok, i can understand if you don't have much work on your pc then you can switch to other platform. Otherwise it is best to use a windows phone at work.

kmsa, 14 Jun 20162 months back I have updated to win 10 through upgrade advi... moreNo, this is not due to upgrade advisor. Update your phone to latest build. No need to use upgrade advisor. Keep internal memory space above 1.5 gb and download update. If you have a free wifi connection then after update do a hard reset. After that update all apps from store. I NEVER FACED ANY PROBLEM LIKE THIS BECAUSE I USUALLY RESET MY PHONE AFTER UPDATE. Don't update if your your phone is working fine and that update is only for stability improvement.

I also faced similar problems with earlier version of windows 10. But now it works fine. But in this generation smartphones heating is a common problem. It get heated while charging and continuous 3g use at a time. May heat while using direct sun light in noon time. Thats normal. These heating are due to powerful processer. I also have xperia c4. It heats usually while watching HD movies. I hope you can understand.

Everyday much more ios apps are being ported to windows store via project islandwood (if you know mr outdated). It is far better to use ios apps rather android apps.

2 months back I have updated to win 10 through upgrade advisor . But I saw some issue like in Microsoft edge hanging and unbale to select text easily. Some apps crash . And camera sight app wil e seen upside down. And lock screen hangs some times . I have gone to service centre they told its jus because u doing thrugh upgrade advisor . Still company dint release officil update. Is it true?. Any body facing such issues...any recent update released to recover those bugs?

Iam using lumia 640 for about 1 year ., my opinion is not to windows phone ever in life becaus-no snapchat app ,no security apps to lock private apps , in windows we cannot lock apps, share it doesn't work, facebook hike Instagram telegram apps are outdated .,even early android versions like ginger bread use to best updated apps., but in windows they don't have must options totally outdated, and most importantly no google apps like youtube., there are no important games ., android and iso release best games every week with full updates but in windows those games do not appear even after 6 months ....... Overall windows phone is bad worse in apps., only the external look and appearance is good but internally it is not useful to any one ., android ios contains more than 1 million apps where as windows contains 35000 outdated apps ., don't buy windows phone
