really good handset bought it in july 2015 and its still going strong...only thing thats dissapointing is the fact that the games cant be transferred from other handsets...bt was worth the money

Upgraded to Windows 10 and battery life went down the tubes. I reinstalled Windows 8

Microsoft end support for Windows 8 End 8.1 Mobile .. returning to windows 8.1 is not a good solution.Unfortunately, some applications no longer work in Windows 8.1 such as Facebook Facebook Messenger end more ..

Why would anyone want windows 10 on a phone. It was designed for computers and the 8.1 system on lumia 640 was superb. windows 10 for phone seemed to copy all the negative aspects of android. the little 640 is the perfect phone for people who want a phone as a communication device, rather than a plaything. it is simple to use (and to repair) I am just sorry that some of the app support has been withdrawn but if you look carefully there are still alternatives in the store

The phone made its way to my pocket about two years ago and I have been using it eversince. It still works absolutely properly and even faster than the time I had first bought it.
I must say that I had a good time using it. Although, It didn't function fine at the first, it got much better thank to the great software support Microsoft provided and still provides even as windows phone aren't a thing anymore.
Now I'm buying a new android phone and leaving this phone behind ,this is probably the last comment written on it, and let me tell you that I didn't regret buying this Microsoft device.
Thank you Microsoft for making such incredible phones and caring about consumers.
