If you're looking for games, Windows phones are not the way to go right now. The app selection is very limited. However, sometime around the holidays, Microsoft has plans to let you download apps from the Android Play Store as well as the Microsoft store.
The phone itself has decent guts, and for the price point is pretty unbeatable.

Nothing not to like about this phone especially it's cheap. Screen and battery life are excellent.

AnonD-361786, 15 Jul 2015Hi just wanted the truth about this phone is it a good phon... moreit is good i have had it for about a week now so far it feels smooth no lag what so ever nice screen for the price 720p so its gonna be sharp and if you get one color you could always order a different color battery back cover of the lumia 640 for around 8 bucks on ebay i got a white phone because my carrier only had that color so i ordered a black battery case easy its a steel for your buck i say you should get if it might be one of the best phones thats not to so expensive the camera is good as well.

Does anyone have issue with Sensor Core applications on this model? It seems that embedded accelerometer or/and its software stops working from Time to time causing also pedometers and fitness Applications to stop working properly (Phone reboot helps).

Does anyone have issues with the wifi locking up the phone with some routers. i dont know if my phones wifi is messed up and should i return it? or if its a firmware issue? I can connect perfectly fine to say hotspots like xfinity wifi hotspots but as soon as i connect to a my home belkin router it locks up the phone and cause reboot after reboot in a row till i unplug my router so i can get the phone to boot up without looping threw bootups.

But I don't seen glance before, because I used HTC Desire HD (android) phone. But what I read about the glance, it is a smart thing, however the Lumia's notification LED is disabled for some devices. (But I don't mind what technology used in a phone, I just want to see the missed calls and notifications)

I usually use phone to call/take some pics/read/listen to music/play little games/browsing/ and (highly frequently) watch videos. So maybe the 640 better for me.

Lumia 735 has a good Front facing camera and primary camera is also good it has a carl ziess lance.. Lumia 735 display is oled display which is slightly better than IPS.. So if you want a Lumia with good display and good primary and front facing cameras.. I say go with Lumia 735.. But if you like big screen phone gofor Lumia 640.. Its battery life is better than Lumia 735 and Camera is good too but its front facing camera is not good for selfies.. Also in my opinion Lumia 735 has better looks.. But Lumia 640 got better colour options.. If you want a good looking phone with best display at this price range and both good cameras.. Gofor Lumia 735 and if you want a large smartphone with good battery life gofor 640.. :) both have butter smooth performance and both are good buy.. And last but not least both are upgradable to windows 10.. :) Cheers!!

I think battery life just like 630, i think cuz 4g dunno, but not as good as ppl rave on about.

Do anyone have issues where the phone turns on and off by itself? Especially while you're on the phone it cuts off and then turns back on by itself only to not completely turn on but leaves you with a gray screen. I have removed the battery and then tried to power phone back on it will not left device alone for a bit then it cuts on by itself and then off. What is going on with this phone I just purchased the phone less than a week had it replaced and its still doing the same thing. Please help
