hey friends i want to know that in order to backup all apps to one drive i have to move all apps to phone memory or it can backup apps which are installed on sd card.plese reply.

Microsoft lumia640 , has very good features ,but has some issue . it is getting hang multiple time in a day . service centers could not able fix the issue. and as per company policy they will repair the device but cannot replace it . from last 3 months they have tried twice to solve the issue but failed . now they are not replacing the device nor solving the issue. it's too bad.

My lumia 640xl became slower since I update to windows 10. I have to downgrade to 8.1 and now it is faster again. But I lost many good options.

I ... moreYes dear Lumia 640 series is still impactfull even after one year old with their strong and dependable cheapest.I also feel that, I am using 640 XL almost a year but not even a single problem I ever found every thing is just perfect.All sensors performing brilliantly.One year old Windows phone running with a charm and Windows 10 is just an add on factor over old Lumia devices.

I do not... moreI "had the same problem". After upgrade my contacts disappeared. nbut as it happened in the evening, I let my phone on during the night, thinking about fixing it in the morning. When I woke up, voila, contacts (and music etc...) were back!
Apparently, it just took so long to the phone to reindex all data into Windows 10 format.

Sorry to hear that. This happens if the upgrade procedure is not followed properly. Try the following corrective measures :
1. Ensure that you have a wifi available.
2. Let the Wifi on your Windows phone remain ON.
3. Switch off your phone.
4. Now switch ON the phone.
5. After successful start-up wait for 5 minutes and check if the contacts are seen. Relax if you see them. Move on to next step if not.
6. On a separate good computer (connected to internet) Log on to www.outlook.com and use your log in and password to access your outlook account.
7. On the upper left corner, hit the ‘People’ button. You would see your contact list (This is true if you used a Windows phone running 8.1 before your upgrade). Give sigh of relief. :) because it means you are out of ‘danger zone’
8. Log out from the outlook account without making any changes.
9. Catch hold of your mobile.
10. Scroll down on the home screen from top to bottom to see the Notification area (NA). Above the NA you would see various buttons. Tap on All Settings.
11. Choose “System” option followed by “About”
12. There’s a button “Reset your phone”. Tap it.
13. You would see a warning. Uncheck the “Also erase SD card” and Tap ‘Ok’
14. Your phone would be reset to apply factory settings.
Remember that wifi should be ON during all this operation. When the reset is done, switch off your phone and then start it again (switch ON).
You would be pleased to see your Contact list restored. It works. Believe me, I had faced this problem on my second Lumia phone while upgrading from Win8.1 to Win10. My first Lumia got upgraded smoothly without this problem. Now both my Lumia phones are well in order with all their contact list intact.

Hello buddy.
Cool down. Admit that you need to understand how to use mobile phone. No harm in admitting that. Absolutely fine. Windows 10 doesn't suck at all for your complaint. Go to 'People' app. By default that shall be available on your start screen. You see all the contacts of your phone. Just tap in search field and start typing the name of the contact you wish to search. And you will see all the available contactd with that letters. That's it. Choose the desire one. Of course, you can pin the frequently needed contacts to the start screen.
If at all, you do not see any contacts (those were available before upgrading) let know that. Even that can be handled.
Good luck friend and request to refrain from blankly saying 'Windows 10 sucks'. Learn it to use it.

I am planning to buy this phone,but i am bit confused coz this phone released a year ago.
Is it worth to buy this old hardware phone compared to new Lumia 650 new hardware

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2016I face the same problem Hard reset must require, but after completion of second update.OS build 164.Hard reset will delete old Windows files and device will get Clean & fresh Windows 10 UI along with new features and setting.

How can I find it... moreI lost my contacts and calendar when migrating to Windows 10, and wasn't able to add my live account (after connecting had a message "Account added" by it didn't appear in the list and the contacts weren't there). After several tries, I solved it adding my account as an Exchange one (not the first option "Outlook.com, Live.com..."), worked fine and restored my contacts and calendar.
