            My Microsoft Lumia 640xl didn't get Windows 10 updates..when I push to update it shows your system on latest version.but it still in windows 8.1 version..please help me to solve this problem.

                I. Am using airecl 3g to upgrade....but it gets stuck at 8% showing error 808882d1 Don't know what to do ??

                  Have updated my 640XL Dual sim to windows 10, very easy with no problems, does take a bit of time, once up and running only change is the on 8.1 I had tiles with SIM1 and SIM 2 and when making call from Contacts I had the choice of SIM to use making the call. Now I have to go into the SIM card I want to use, then search people and call, using contacts it defaults to using one Sim only. Other than that WIN 10 mobile is great. Would recommend to anyone with the 640 phone

                    I have updated my Lumia 640 xl to windows 10.For updating u need to download upgrade advisor app from store. Open the app and check for the update.First update is of latest version of denim.After updating latest denim again u have to check for update in upgrade advisor app.Now there will be an update of windows 10.Download it and install it.It takes time to download and install . First update take Min. 3 hrs.and windows 10 update take 6 hrs. So be patient. You need to have wifi of good speed and it takes 1.25 Gb approximate.There is no need of soft or hard reset.Your all data will be as it is after update. But saving on SD card will be good.Windows. 10 is way better than windows 8.1.Camera quality improved and so many other things.Battery will last 8-9 hrs if u use internet all day.I don't think any change in battery but the phone user interface is great and u will notice how better is 10 than 8.1. So definitely update to Windows 10. Just needed a good speed data ( wifi).

                      I know it should be done anyways, but we should follow some steps before upgrading as I did so my phone has not any issue after upgrade to win10. Here is what I suggest
                      1. Factory reset your phone
                      2. Check for the update in same version(i.e. 8.1)
                      3. Open Store, check for updates for app you have on your phone. Let the store update everything if any available.
                      4. Restart your phone
                      5. Install app "Upgrade Advisor app". It will automatically search the upgrade eligibility of your phone.

                      If you have already done the upgrade and having abnormal behaviour just do a rollback to 8.1 and follow all these steps as I have mentioned above.

                        Phone unstable after upgrading to w10..browser,Facebook goes of when using..anyone here with such problem..i can't even find my contacts after logging in my Microsoft account..pls help

                          1.) Downloaded upgrade advisor
                          2.) Checked Enable windows upgrade
                          3.) started downloading update in phone setting

                          now, here is the issue
                          as i started downloading it worked perfect unless and until it reached 8% ....
                          after reaching that it displays error message ( error 801882d1 )

                          i have performed hardreset as well as soft reset which later results of no good.

                          i have tried updating 4 times with no luck..
                          Anyone have anymore suggestions ???

                            Yes i updated win 10 on my phone smooth nd very good I like it ..... 1.68 Gb installation. So pls insure u have good Mb in ur phone
