Anonymous, 16 Jan 2016Why am I the only person seeing the poorest low light pictu... morePl take photos with Lumia Camera in manual mode with ISO at 64 or 100 and all others at auto values instead of in auto mode. The auto mode in lumia camera is not optimised for low light/artificial conditions but it is suitable for day light conditions. However the subject and your hands should be very steady while taking pictures at low ISO values.

Why are we buying windows phones, so many bottle necks and wait for10 win, shouldn't be a lottery since needs full year to stabilize.

About the phone. U can do background downloading using uc browser ..cab do stop or pause the downloading files
13mp Zeiss optics cam is best in this price range. And 5mp frnt cam is super in selfie pics.
Can do zooming in camera..pinch zoom similar to photo zooming gesture..
It will get windows 10 update soon.
So go for it dude..

Lol... I think 10586.63 is final build.. MS send this build to carriers and they are testing now. T-Mobile Poland already started to send official W10M update for 640.. I am using .63 build now and it is 98% solid build.. Battery backup is awesome now.. So wait until this weekend.. MS anytime start delivering official update so stay tuned...

At last in list of first upgrade to win 10, ver .29 is buggy, and if we are given what news, maybe dream of buying may come true. Otherwise call duration option was missing!

Through windows insider app you can upgrade to windows10.
I do use it and don't face any problem.
It's a good phone though it's not very fast as Android or ios phones. Camera is really competitive in day light...I do love it ...

i am an IT Professional. and i am using this phone. it's really good phone, as an IT Pro i suggest to those people who work in IT can get this phone.. no hanging problem, long lasting battery on continue using WIFI or 3G, 4G internet. full HD camera and lots of features. do not compare this phone to Android or Apple, because it is different platform. honestly for me this is very good smart phone...

If you are a Android users then go for Moto G 3rd gen a great smartphone.Windows phone lacks good quality of Apps.and Unattractive UI many Android users fells boring while using Windows phone.We can't do multitasking in Windows phone. Advantages of Windows phone Great battery backup,Nice display,Good Camera great Ram Management.Please note Windows 10 still under development there were lots of bugs present in Windows 10.And there is no any certain date for Windows 10 release.Better to Go for Moto G 3rd gen its a fantastic Smartphone very good battery backup,very nice camera and above all a great performer.M update is just start rolling out for Moto G 3rd gen and will definitely get the Next major Android update.

Taking good photos with your 640XL should not be a problem. Although there are a few tricks you need to have.
1. Update the Camera application from store
2. Turn flash to automatic mode
3. Do a lot of practice with taking photos of flowers, buildings, your friends and family....take photos in town or wherever you please, practice makes perfect.
4. Have fun.
