I love Windows phones ans this is my second one after nokia 625 but in case of lumia 640 xl dual its a disaster. Web browser is a disaster, forget about precise tapping, lags like hell, reboots itself once in a little while. Doesnt compress vid files sent thru whatsapp. Files larger than 5mb get rejected which sucks. Overall I love WP ans its devices but theres a long was to go ahead of MS, plus no smartwatches that support the OS. Im contemplating android although i love WP and its live tiles which is super cool.

i have a lumia 640xl dual sim...what a piece of crap...
1) no w10 upgrade ...but repeated adverts that it will be soon??
2) you can only update apps if connected via wi-fi???
3) repeatedly fails to connect to laptop...(using a 5 year old htc desire to write this).
4) cortana disabled...in uk...though the adverts where showing how useful it is?
5) even basic apps... like a stopwatch,,,are not standard.
regretr buying this garbage of a phone.

Hello....yesterday 27-12-2015 I bought this mobile...at its price it is good mobile ...long lasting battery..touch also super.....but I don't know how get good picture using camera.....anybody know please reply

Can anyone please guide why Lumia 640xl lte operating system taking lots of internet data..i am using last two months w/o any majour use my data has been over...in data sense showing system used 7gb data and other 1gb..what is the matter even all updates of phone are off.

As i told you W10 is biggest overhaul of OS in this decade so it takes them hard to settle down n stick to deadline.. Now OneCore is almost ready so Next Redstone update coming at perfect time.. Redstone update for W10 same bigger update like 8.1 for W8.... You can say it 10.1... Features wise Redstone update will be really big... W10M is almost ready to deliver.. Only few major n minor bug fixing remaining... Frm W10.. W10M is also a service now like desktop n never going to complete.. You can say w10m as a service which going to improve continuously in future... I hope MS will surprise us with Redstone n you will come back to platform soon.. Till then njoy with your Droid.
