    after severe disappointment i have sold my Lumia 640XL and bought Samsung J7 today..RIP WP..

RTM version is almost ready n few bug fix... moreThere is no delay from the side of Android and IOS update only Windows 10 is delay.Its bigest disappointment for us really Microsoft not stick to it's own wording So pathetic.From August to December now Windows 10 update shifted to Next year and nothing yet confirmed.Microsoft already lost the game in front of Android and IOS.And such delay will definitely affect their future plan.Windows 10 is almost one year delay.

No one want buggy OTA build in their phone.. This is reason MS still not released w10m update for public.. W10 is biggest overhaul till now so it takes more time for them to develop such big OS.. This is holiday time for all of them.. They can't miss these Christmas holidays so they postponed this update for January.. You need to wait 2 more weeks.. 640xl is already listed in first batch n if you don't have patience then download preview build... 10586.39 is pretty solid build n my friends told me this build working really awesome on their 640xl n 730... Almost fluent like 8.1.. Official Facebook app in work as private beta by FB inc... They officially confirmed this two days ago.. I think few major issues remains regarding update process n small bugs here n there which they needs to fix so they halt update.. This is software development dude.. No one can give 100% perfect deadline for completion because software development is really hard.. Hope you know such basic things.. If you have any problem ask me here..

          anybody planning to buy a lumia hoping to enjoy the Windows 10 update..please DONT! unless they really release the full and final version. They have already failed to keep their commitment...and their app store is so poor..u cant even use the official facebook app. So think twice before you spend your money on their products.

            Here is the bad news for Lumia users...
            "If you have a Windows Phone 8.1 device, here's some bad news for you. Microsoft has just announced that the updates to Windows 10 Mobile for older devices will only start rolling out "early next year".

            Previously, the company had said that Lumias with Windows Phone 8.1 on board would start receiving the Windows 10 update in December. Yet now that we're more than halfway through the month already, the time frame change is being made official. So no Windows 10 Mobile holiday gift for you then.

            Absolutely no reason was given for this switch, and it's pretty concerning that the new timeline is actually more vague than the old one (which referenced one month, whereas "early next year" could mean almost anything - a rollout in April, for example, may still be reasonably thought as on time by this measure).

            And in case you're wondering, Microsoft still hasn't presented a definitive list of all Lumias that will get the Windows 10 update. We just know which devices are going to be the first ones to run the new software, but that list dates back to July - hopefully nothing's changed."

            MS is really awesome....just one word for them...CHEAT!

              This set covers under win10 update but you have to wait for couple of months more to get the final version..in the dual sim option only one sim can be used for 3g connection and the other is for 2g.

                ankit, 18 Dec 2015Camera quality Is most worsted I ever seen.its a rumour 13m... moreIts genuine 13 mp cam..i have checked with other 13 mp cam...lumia 640xl capture more better pic than any 13 mp cam in day light...even better than samsung j7. But the only disadvantage is in low light. The speciality of windows phone cam is they capture the true color.

                        It's confirmed that the only way to buy as Italian is it send by
                        a store somewhere on the internet from other European countries,
                        like Germany and / or France, guarantee europe?
                        In addition, there is an upgrade to WP10 short, or a device is not covered
                        from this update?
                        About the sim, both can go on the internet? And in what ways?
                        Example of combinations: SIM1 in 3G / SIM2 in LTE,
                        both LTE, or other? Both can be used in call with 2G / 3G,

                              MS had pulled out the latest windows10 version from their server as they received several complains regarding installation problem. Basically the version was released on 8 December. The problem was faced by lumia 950 and 950xl users.
                              This is very unfortunate from the tech giant like MS. They came into mobile business without preparation, it is now clearly understood. They kept all the windows phone users hanging since long and yet no definite commitment about the update. Feeling disgust as windows phone user.

                                  Overall phone is perfectly fine.
                                  Pros Include:
                                  1. Ability to install apps on SD cards with almost a lag free environment
                                  2. Its really buttery smooth when opening & closing and scrolling within the apps
                                  3. Rear Camera is really a 13 mega pixel camera. Had some really great short both in day and night
                                  4. Processor & RAM performance along with the Windows OS is a perfect match

                                  Cons Include:
                                  1. The front camera... Its either a very very poor camera (may be the sensor) or the Camera App does not has a good front facing camera coordination. It really takes very poor and bad pictures with front facing camera. Never felt that I have a 5 mega pixel camera on front of my phone :-(
                                  2. App compatibility.. This one is also a major disadvantage of having a windows phone. Its not days, Its almost years and we don't have basic apps like Facebook (officially developed app by Facebook team), IMO & video calling on FB Messenger.
                                  3. User Interface... Although its quite simple but isn't it too flat?? even in windows 10 insider previews there is no major option of customization like icon changing and other changes.
                                  4. Bazzels top, bottom & sides, all are too wide,
