Why lumia 640xl is the best mobile phone? Few silly answers..it has a big screen, camera is awesome, ms office and bla bla bla.
I feel piety for them who over rated this device. This is the worst mobile i have ever used. The main purpose of a mobile is connectivity. And it has the poorest connectivity as most of the social apps are way back dated. Camera is an additional feature. Reading few comments it feels that we buy mobile for taking photographs. Poor me as i own such a crap.

MacTavish, 16 Sep 2015I am having a problem with calling too Happens every often... moreHi MacTavish, first you have to use original micro sim not cutted manually, second you have to do a hard reset by about>reset (factory reset), but know that by doing this step all your data will be deleted so make a backup or save the photos videos contacts..in onedrive for example or on your pc.. let me know if that fix the problem :)

Happens every often and its irritating
When I call the ring does not go and when I try to hang up it just displays ending and we can wait forever for it to end
I have to switch off my phone and start it again and it works fine for some time then again the same problem persists
I asked the retailer about the problem
He says that it is network problem
I have two different Sims and both cant have the same problem
Please help if you can

gmail on android is getting poorer and poorer day by day..and now its most frustating experience.
gmail test on android p780 and outlook email test on microsoft lumia 640 xl.
Gmail updated app on p780 take ages to sync . currently inbox is showing 1 new msg, im trying to sync it from 30 mins, it has already drained 8% of my battery but still i cant see email.
Gmail factory version on p780 is good..it does takes some 8 to 10 mins to sync but new email does appers.
but outlook email is fastest..
in syncd 20 emails in 13 minutes..
at completing 25 mins i was done with reading and farwarding some 8 necessary emails all this at expence of 5% battery usage..
please note network used on both devices was same in
On updates usually company tries to give better service, but in gmail case updates sucks and left me frustrated..

Almost perfect phone. Except for resolution. Fast browsing, camera is great it even beats other flagship.

Internal memory 8gb is obnoxious, hear we get cheaper price. Gpu Cpu are outdated. Having a big screen size with all paraphilia then good results, than only size but junk all hardware with No Resale as only 3 months past its released. Its available fr 175$ boxed warranty. Just see the plight of MS releases. Same size 950XL better specs is asking 850$.

I can't find an app as good as android photogrid in windows store for cropping because I'm in Kenya. And it also doesn't connect well to wordpress.com for blogging. The WordPress native app is not available for Windows phones. Also, some menu items that are related to each other are not clustered together.. e.g. Screen rotation and brightness should all be under display. And when I crop photos manually and save them, the original photo disappears ☹

640XL has poor resolution 720*1280 bigger size makes it more. Nokia shud have left experts to guide MS way of handling. There is nothing special or outstanding in this fone.

This phone does not support background downloads that's how Microsoft runs this phone on such low rams basically there is no multitasking haha 😆 and it doesn't support flashplayer videos for same reason

good buy microsoft.
i took this phone for 15000 and sold at 10,000 INR.
no app for yahoo mail,,for me yahoomail is source of my bread and butter..it has inturrepted my business...so now back to android,,
